Financial freedom gave me inner peace, more confidence, reason for doing things, I stopped talking & listened more. I loved myself more.... inspiring lady with a gift for making financial planning easy....love the biblical principles.
We need to be taught real financial lessons from primary school. If you are not fortunate to have parents with good financial acumen you are forced to learn by doing many mistakes. Its only then we turn to books & the internet to learn if we are smart enough. I don't know how many times I heard ppl say " I need 5k. I'm going to borrow 10k from the bank & use their own money to pay them back." And ppl bragging that they have 2 creditcards & 10 store cards. Or that the minute a shop increases their credit they go & spend it & act like they won the lottery. S.Africans also spend way too much of their hard earned money on vices like cigarettes, alcohol, drugs & sex. We are a hedonistic nation & that comes with bad consequences.

I love such topics! As a people if we know ourselves and our weaknesses, then one of the things we must do is to be truthful about our financial status. To the point that you'd tell your family "I'm not going with you on holiday to Durban if my children's school fees and their stationery for the coming year haven't been paid"..... We must live truthfully.....
Yep, I agree. Entertainment should be part of the budget. Everything in your life should be budgeted. Consider your lifestyle when drawing your budget.

I love the education behind these podcasts and how realistic you guys are... Cause debts will always be an issue... But I like to understand why they stay rich people ALWAYS use debts to buy and not their money(that's one confusing thing to me)

Wow I loved this episode, my first time watching. I love this lady, she knows her purpose in life and the feeling of wanting the same for everyone is in all of us, it's a pity that people don't see the system that is trapping the black people and how we can use what is God given to flourish and prosper in life. We need more of her.
