Karaites are the nation settled mainly on the Crimean peninsula, that speak Crimean Tatar language with minor differences, but the main difference between them is that Karaites are reading Torah. There are many religious songs in Karaite language out there, but hey, wouldn't anyone mind if we were to add some groovy vibes into the dull video feed, eh?

Aren't Karaites just Krimchatken?

They consider themselves Jews, But They recognize only the Tanakh (Written Torah/Hebrew Bible) is recognized And they reject the Talmud (oral Torah.) Karaite comes from the Hebrew קורא "Kore" "read" and קוראים "Koraim" "readers".

Krimchatken/Krymchaks are ethnically Jewish which are Muslim, while Karaites are Turkic peoples which got their Judaism back from Khazar Khaganate times.

both krymachaks and karaites are decendants of khazar jews but karaites dont consider themselves jewish despite reading torah while krymchaks do

Krymchaks are another group of Jews in the Crimean Peninsula. They are practitioners of normative Rabbinical Judaism and likely descend from a variety of populations of Jews, especially from the Greek speaking world, Georgia, and Italy. There is likely to be Turkic admixture, either from Crimean Tatars or Kipchaks, but there's no solid evidence of Khazar connections, but considering the Khazars held sway over Crimea for a time, it seems likely for there to be some influence since Krymchaks have been there since before the Khazars emerged let alone before any part of Khazar society probably converted to Judaism. The Khazars spoke a significantly different Turkic language than either group as well, and there hasn't been any linguistic link found, let alone genetic evidence to point to Khazar origins. Some minute influence is probable, at least on Krymchaks, but if it's not significant enough to be discernable, then it's not a particular significant point. Karaites probably came from Egypt where there was a distinct population of Karaite Jews at the time, presumably there's been a degree of inter-marriage with both Krymchaks and Gentiles of various origins, but by and large both groups are definitively genetically Jewish.
