I guess I'd want to know what your goal is first. If you want something to just "looks like" a rock bouncer, than any cheap Amazon cage will work. If you want to race it or have something that performs really well, I'd consider looking at one of these companies/chassis builders who have been proven.
@@ShadeTree_RC it's funny we're talking about this. I just had this convo with a guy last week, where I explained that an RC rock bouncer is NOT an RC basher. Yes, they are supposed to be built for a beat down, but they are not meant to launch 20ft in the air off jumps or ran into curbs and sidewalks like I see so many videos of people doing. I drive my bouncers like I would a 1:1 rig. Yeah I beat on them, but only with the intention of making the hill. From what I've seen, the Furitek is designed to use the smaller SCX drivetrain. So that to me is not a good start. From there you think, well I'll put Axial Ryft axles under it, but remember that chassis is set up for using one suspension design, so you'd probably have to modify the chassis a WHOLE bunch in order to make it work. If budget is a problem, I would look at building a Wraith or Bomber or something that has been around a while with parts readily available and cheap. You can also find used chassis' out there, that are already set up for the much stronger drivetrain. That's my thoughts on the fly. From my experience helping a ton of people get into this form of motorsport, the ones that try and save initially end up paying the most in the long run, because they try and try to make the "cheap" work, then just go out and buy a real machine in the end.
@@RCCommand its not 24th scale its 1/10 made for the ryft bro ....Furitek Everest Titanium Cage Kit for Axial Ryft 1/10...if u wanna look at it just google that
@@ShadeTree_RC ah, the one I found when I googled had SCX axles under it. My bad. Ryft axles are the new hotness. Sucks you have to buy lockers for them, but they are probably the best platform to base a build off at this point. I have never seen one of those chassis' in action. They look like a direct replacement for the Ryft.
