I'm a real woman from NZ and for me, besides the atrocities and violence at the park, the WORST behaviour came from 3news who DOCTORED a clip of Posie playing with the zipper of her top. They took a screen shot, blurred part of the shot and BLATENTLY LIED by pushing the narrative she was in fact using her fingers to give a secret salute to NAZIS. Those responsible should have instantly lost their journalist accreditation and been SACKED. There has been zero reporting on this. I'm so sorry Posie on behalf of all sane women in NZ. We have been lied to. Where did co - governance come from? What logging slash disaster? What tourist town motels full of “ homeless”? What sexualization of children in education curriculum? What men in women’s Olympic teams? What ram raids?

They are getting violent because because of constant dehumanization and their right to medical care is getting taken away by ideologues who are in a constant state of moral panic. Suffragettes got violent, Blacks got violent during the civil rights era. do we say these movements are any less credible? Detransition regret rate is ~1% in the US. To use these people as evidence that gender affirming care does not work intellectually dishonest.

KJK’s clarity about her views & her ability to respond with what appears to be a considered answer to any question she’s asked reveals her to be someone who thought about the topic she speaks on after subjecting her own views to challenge. One thing KJK is not is someone who just regurgitates the unexamined thoughts of others.
Good to see Quillette interviewing Kellie Jay. Important to distinguish between being "in your face," which has the pejorative sense of being gratuitously rude, and simply speaking plainly and forcefully, without apology, which is what Kellie Jay does. This is particularly galvanizing for women who, as a whole, have been socialized to be indirect and apologetic. Also, Billboard Chris apparently makes a strategic choice sometimes to bring his message directly to TRA events, while Kellie Jay only hosts events designed to give women a platform to speak (of course the TRA's do show up and that does tend to prove a point, but it is incidental).
Catriona (wonderful name, by the way) - Thank you for making this point. Kellie Jay is not “in your face” or even “combative.” She is honest and uncompromising. She does not apologize for speaking the truth in defense of women, children, and reality. She holds the line and in the process gives many more women and men the courage to speak. Of course, to some, this is jarring from a woman. And yeah, Billboard Chris seems to have a history of attaching himself to movements in the hopes of developing a following. In this, he has had more success confronting TRAs than Scientologists, his past crusade. As you say, he seems to seek out news-worthy confrontation. In one case simply follows and hounds one small female employee at a gender clinic, which served no purpose except to intimidate and antagonize a young woman with zero influence or power in the gender industry. (Jennifer Bilek he is not.) Ryan Pennington interviewed a woman who interacted with Billboard Chris within anti-Scientology circles.
I was at the rally in Melbourne. What Kellie Jay said is true. There is a journalist called the Real Rukshan who released a live stream and podcast about what was happening as he was there. He stood behind me at one point. You can see for yourself what happened. We were a small group of women who gathered at the bottom of Parliament steps to let women speak - a free speech event where any woman can come up to the microphone. The police kept a barrier between us on the left, to the right, and behind us where the usual TRA screamers were. They let in the men dressed in black into our area up onto the higher part of the steps way up and behind us to the left. Most of us didn't see them, when the Marshalls saw them, they alerted the police. We thought they were antifa. The police, instead of escorting them to the left, out and behind the area of conflict between us and the TRAs, marched them right behind us and in front of the TRAs, who were held in check by a line of mounted police, where they just happened to do a Nazi salute in front of the cameras. One of the "Nazis" the blond haired one, was later found out to be the son of a police officer. TRAsinbody armour slid under the police horses and were punching them in the stomach to break the line to get to us. The police informed Kellie Jay that it was too dangerous to continue the talks so we had to leave. One of the antifa/nazis was seen high fiving police on the way out. This was absolutely set up. On ABC radio Melbourne today, it was reportedthat Moira Deeming has asked for an apology from Posutto, the head of the Liberal Party, and it has again been reported that Posie Parker is right wing, associated with Nazis and that is why Deeming has been suspended for 9 months. Not one mainstream news outlet has reported on the speeches of the women, not one has reported on Moira's question to Parliament asking how many men identifying as women are in women's prisons - we know a double rapist is being held in a Melbourne women's prison and that he also assaulted a young girl. We are not being heard, we are being smeared. The journalism and state news here has been corrupted and to my mind have stoked the violence against women and girls in Australia and NZ.
Humor is one of the things that will cause this movement to fall apart. That's why they are so desperate to shut down comedians who don't tow the line.
I'm thoroughly shocked at the way the mainstream news outlets in my country (New Zealand) covered your visit here, Kelly. Every article I found from TVNZ, TV3, RNZ etc had the label "Anti-trans activist" in the headline, rather than "Women's rights activist", and from what little I knew beforehand of your activism, that didn't seem fair. So I looked up loads of your interviews, heard your *actual* message about women's rights and the protection of the word "Woman", and have had to accept that our media here is captured. On this issue, at least. I know I'm naive, but us kiwis sometimes tend to think that our "she'll be right" attitude insulates us against whatever's going on in the big wide world. Posie's visit to NZ jolted me into awareness. Up till then I had completely ignored the whole trans thing. But I was propelled into it by her visit. And while she was here in NZ, my passivity meant I took in the way NZ media coloured Posie Parker as a bad person. Hook line and sinker. Now, I'm really angry. If it has a penis and if it once had a penis, it's a man. And it may never never never go into a female-only space like toilets, changing rooms, sports and prisons.
It’s not all about having a penis. If someone has a muscular body, that looks like a male body, or a male face, they need to stay out of female spaces, and off female apps.
I agree 100%. In BC, Tranada (surprise!) "the Oger" was appointed to represent women, despite opposition from hundreds and hundreds of women, organizations and NGOs.

Kellie is 5ft, 1in same as me and I am completely outmatched against a man. I find men very intimidating when they are aggressive because I’m so small next to them and don’t stand a chance. She had a hundreds strong group attacking her and intimidating her because she’s advocating for women and children’s safety. Safety from men in our single sex spaces where we deserve safety and privacy from men. The world is upside down. Also this whole gender ideology being taught to children is going to end very badly. When these kids grow up and we have droves of young adults who are all damaged by medical transition. That’s when schools, parents and doctors are going to realise the massive error they have made and the wrongs they have done. There is no way we are going to avoid young adults who won’t regret what they have done. They will because most of these kids are doing something they think is trendy or a fad. I’m not saying all see it like that but I bet most do and we are medicalizing kids when we don’t need to. It’s wrong on so many levels and as much as I hope this doesn’t happen, in a way I think it has to so it will stop.
You're right about everything, Posie. None of those cops really believe you are wrong. These cops get their instructions from their seniors and their seniors get their policies from politicians.
Feminism is not monolithic as most people know. The feminism I knew did not eschew children they just wanted women to be able to do more w/ their lives if they wanted to, to have choices. It was to liberate women from the proscribed, narrow roles that made women so dependent throughout history. That was the feminism I knew. Feminism that helped women to be more confident and independent financially so they were not stuck in a bad marriage, possibly an abusive one, so they would have the ability to get out of that situation. And those women started domestic abuse shelters and rape crisis centers and on and on. Just b/c there are Vichy feminists who are supporting the 'trans' lunacy or other things that do not center women does not mean all feminists are doing that. Women's liberation has always been about enabling women to develop and use their talents and skills so they had choices in life, it was always about having choices. KJK is proof women are multi-talented and have much to offer society. Pink News is a disgrace, it does not represent LGBs esp. women, it represents the utter lunacy of 'trans.'
That is my view of feminism I am 79 and an elder sister of mine fought in those early years and I believe she gave up because the Lesbian Left took over and the older founders could not promote the hatred of men most of those founders were in constructive marriages and loved the men in their lives.
This is true but I think when the main objectives of any activist group have been achieved it has to find something new to pursue in order to justify its existence. It happens all the time and it ends up as the gay rights movement has, being run by extremists in pursuit of extremist agendas.

I work with men who just assume those things have always existed, along with women’s bathrooms and the idea that marital r*pe is a crime. Of course, there have always been divisions and faults within the movement. Many Western second-wave feminists closed their eyes to the abuses of women in non-Western cultures. They prioritized men over women for political ends. Some fell for virulent Antisemitism when it disguised itself as a human rights cause. Phyllis Chesler’s experiences in Afghanistan and America are instructive. That doesn’t mean the whole project is corrupt or should be scrapped, as a few popular “conservative” personalities like to say.
The Scottish thing is complicated by the fact a lot of smaller political party's were targeted by TRAs (they switch up when they get booted out) because they get exponentially more weight lent to their voices. The SNP leaders are temperamentally left leaning and since their priority is independence they know little to zero about niché issues and anyway want to please everyone so they'll vote independent.

Believing sexist stereotypes define men and women, instead of their biological sex, is unquestionably sexist to the core, because you are saying men and women are not actually free to behave however they want but need to conform to these sexist stereotypes in order to be men or women - if you say no they don't have to act any sort of way as a man or woman, and being a man or woman has nothing to do with biology - then what are you describing by calling someone a man or woman? If you think it doesn't describe biology, and doesn't describe anything about their looks or behaviour, then what on earth are you basing defining anyone as a man or woman on??? Why would a man need to become a "trans woman" in order to be their "authentic selves", why can't they just be a very feminine man and dress/act however they want? If trans ideology isn't sexist, then why would a man ever need to "transition" if either sex is completely free to act however they want? How can you claim to be opposing sexism when the whole basis for anyone feeling the need to transition, literally is sexism? How is gender identity" any different from what sexist stereotypes a person feels drawn to? Or simply their PERSONALITY? And, if sex and gender are separate, then why should "transitioning gender" allow MALES into FEMALE-ONLY spaces, they never changed, nor can they change, their sex.
