Was thinking the exact same thing. I get the distinct impression that she is the most humble, self effacing, genuine woman who also has the work ethic, talent and natural charisma that they wish they had. Love Kelly ❤.
Kelly Clarkson placed a very high standard since winning American Idol. Her performance at the Billboard Awards was impeccable…she hasn’t lost her edge one bit. Absolutely incredible talent
Best audience reactions - Khalid so genuinely smiling and dancing in his seat, and BTS grooving in their chairs and then just automatic standing ovation. So fun to watch. Kelly is a queen
There's something about Kelly switching between genres that doesn't seem try-hardish or offensive or like cultural appropriation. She does it so easily while still making it her own, which is crazy. I honestly can't think of any other artist EVER that is able to switch between country/rap/rock/pop/RNB so effortlessly.
I guess for 2020 we have to settle for Jennifer Lopez 🤪 Kelly and P!nk would be amazing 😍 I can just imagine P!nk flying and Kelly slaying high notes 😂
@@thelozanothing2564 Most famous idol winner isn't enough, and the fact that you supposed that new generations people don't know her is a proof that she isn't famous enough. Funny thing to add is that actually I'm a big fan.
People underestimate her because she makes it look SO 👏 DAMN 👏 EASY👏. She is effortless, what she pulled off here is literally next level, I genuinely think she’s the greatest singer of my generation
@@user-wq1qf1be1t I don't think that's actually a factor as songs such as "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" covered by Ariana Grande was sent to the committee for review if it could receive a nomination. I forget if it did or not, but I don't think originality is a factor. I think it came down to Kelly's label not bothering to submit it even though she crushed this performance!
Even though she won a Grammy for "My Church", I feel like this was the moment that Maren Morris was like "omg i made it. Kelly Clarkson is singing my song".
Yeah, I don't care what she looks like...But it must be a great feeling to be stronger. I have followed Kelly from the beginning and have always loved her voice but this new album and lately...It's like it's become velvet chocolate...So good! Plus I LOVE how real she is.
If so, why were Because of You, Catch my Breath, Stronger, Since U Been Gone, Hazel Eyes, Heartbeat Song the big hits in my country? If so, why does she has 11 top ten hits on Billboard with several weeks per each song?
I love Kelly. Not only is she MEGA talented and been in the game and still going strong & straight killin’ it for 20 years, she is hilarious and has the BEST personality. Just the best ❤️🔥
Aretha’s predictions of Kelly literally came true. Said she would definitely be a very successful pop singer and that she had a very likable personality and she absolutely does. She’s so humble and genuine
Kelly has been smart in the way that she hasn't really let them lock her into a genre box. I've heard her saying musical theater I've heard her sing country, rock ,rap, pop, she really doesn't have anything she can't sing.
She did great. To do a medley with other peoples songs and use your real VOICE is AMAZING. She didn't cuss or come out of her clothes she just used her voice and did awesome
I laugh every time Kelly performs because people are still shocked and surprised by her talent. Like, there is a reason she's the original A.I. and is still present in the music industry. That reason is call talent.
Jason O'Daniel *sigh* First of all,I don’t even have a Twitter account. Second of all,you ARE a troll because you keep spamming your comment and you’re telling people to go kill themselves. Honestly, just leave everyone and I alone because nobody wants to deal with you.
She's so underrated as a singer. In terms of technical skill as a singer, she's clearly in the top 2% out there, easily. She sings these songs effortlessly, and for most of these songs she's actually singing better than the original artist sings them live.
List of songs: 1. Maren Morris - My Church 2. Sam Smith - Too Good at Goodbyes 3. Kendrick Lamar - Humble 4. Imagine Dragons - Thunder 5. Khalid - Young, Dumb and Broke 6. Bruno Mars f/Cardi B - Finesse 7. Ed Sheehan - Shape Of You 8. Shawn Mendes - There's Nothing Holding Me Back 9. Taylor Swift - Look What You Made Me Do
Yo everyone is shook Kelly just proved that top 40 only needs one singer and that person is Kelly Clarkson. She can just dominate the charts if she wants to but everyone else is at her mercy that she doesn’t do that
The only singers that can match Kelly are the divas of the 90s that are still around but that’s it 💁🏻♀️ a rock album with Kelly’s voice OMG that would be epic!
Kelly is a rare gem. Not so many wholesome, humble, charismatic, talented women in the entertainment industry. She keeps it real and deserve all the success she has. Love her! 😀
She beats superstars. Most don't last as long, are loved by all genres, has such range in voice and jumping into everything and killing it. I'm 70, grew up listening to some of the best. Kelly has more talent, future and charm than any of them.
Jason O'Daniel Is midget and lunatic your only insult? You're wasting *OUR* time by replying to everybody that replies to you. And it is our opinion if we like Kelly Clarkson or not. "Kelly is a Cow you beyond, stupid, idiot, ignorant ass-kissing lunatic"
Emizy, just ignore Jason O' Daniel. If you want, you could report him for cyberbullying and harassment. Isn't that so fitting? In my opinion, I think people are way too critical and should just take a chill pill. I hope you are having a good day.
I enjoyed every minute of this, several times! This woman is a force and one of the most talented women in show business 👏👏. Talent oozes from Kelly, and she can rock any genre and I love watching her! Keep it up Kelly!
I’m sure the dancers help create a mood that helps her feel the lyrics more. Dancers aren’t paid that much and they can spend their entire life training (which includes eating healthy and most likely broken or no toenails for those who are on-pointe). I’m glad artists incorporate dancers.
