The recipe is no longer in the KC website since it was a story. The chef said it’s on her link tree and in her IG bio but there is no hyper text for it. Oh well. They look delish but maybe it is better I don’t have a new favorite cookie to eat 😂

I would think a cancer survivor would know better than to indulge in sugary (esp white sugar) foods, no matter how delish. But what do I know...

No it doesn’t! That’s one thing that it doesn’t do. Sugar is too simple to do that to someone’s body. And cancer isn’t simple. Not only am I a 4 year cancer survivor and thriver but I’ve worked with kids for 15 years in the hospital setting that have cancer and other life changing, life altering and life threatening situations. I’m usually a silent watcher. But your fact is extremely inaccurate about sugar feeding cancer. It does NO such thing!!

It’s such a horrible myth , my cousin got bone cancer and unfortunately she lost her battle after two short years . her family had put her on a strictly no-sugar diet and it did nothing but probably make her life even more difficult on top of all the treatments she was undergoing 😢
