Kelly Clarkson - THE DANCE (Live at Kennedy Center Honors) Reaction 

This is my fave Garth Brooks song of all time. So when I saw Kelly sing it I knew she wasn't gonna disappoint and omg I was right. She was amazing. This song is very meaningful to her. Cuz she told Garth Brooks when he was on her show this was the song that made her thru her divorce and the song is about the end of something. So she was saying goodbye to her ex husband Brandon in this one. And you can see the emotion in her face and voice. And notice she doesn't open her eyes that much. She was really feeling the song. It was so beautiful and emotional at the same time. Wow.

I watch this performance at least twice a day. Kelly is just an insanely gifted singer.

It really does give a whole new meaning. Especially for her. She told him on her show, while she started going through the hell of her divorce that, albeit it is one of her all time favorite songs, when she heard it again for the first time since her divorce began, she FINALLY HEARD it, UNDERSTOOD it and GOT it! She truly understood and appreciated the meaning of it for the first time. She said it hit differently and it has a whole new meaning for her personally, and that his song has helped her get through this divorce. So to know that while listening it hits harder for me because I literally feel her pain and emotion in this tribute honors version! Especially the way it started acapella!! She is phenomenal and made Garth feel EVERY SINGLE RUN, NOTE and LYRIC! He was BROUGHT TO TEARS and so touched by it, as well as by her personally!! Two of the most humble people on planet 🌏 no matter how big they get! They are not changed by fame and just truly love music! This was pure 🔥!

Have you heard Kelly's song I Dare You? She sang it in six different languages and they also did it for the deaf people too (ASL). She sang it at the finale on The Voice a couple of seasons ago.
