This was very ahead of it's time, and I appreciate the message that they were getting across. It doesn't matter what a woman, or man decides to wear, or even if they are into you at first, from the moment they are uncomfortable, and say no that is the end of it. A person deserves to make their own choices and you should never try to infringe upon that no matter what.

People, especially the young, dress in ways that bring attention to themselves. Unfortunately some times that attention is the wrong kind. Does that mean someone has a right to hurt them? Of course not, no sane person would think so. But there are a ton of unstable and emotionally damaged people walking around today - more so now than then. What we wear certainly does matter. While it doesn't justify wrong-doing, it can be the difference between good and bad attention.
That's because she was a terrible actress, the only reason she got the job as Donna was because her dad was the producer of the show. Her acting got better as the show progressed.
That was part of the characters. They’re shallow spoiled selfish brats who don’t care about each other. Brenda was the light and heart of the gang. The Walsh family came in to juxtapose a caring family bs shallow Beverly Hills. Donna didn’t care about Brenda when Kelly started dating Dylan. None of them cared. Brenda was the only one who cared about her so called “friends.”
I loved their friendship but no Steve and Kelly were both to much alike honestly love them but Kelly was waiting and so was Steve but that’s why it didn’t work but their friendship and bond was amazing

I am a Brenda and Dylan fan. But I felt so bad for Kelly in this scene. Steve was a real hero and he really seemed to love her too bad their relationship didn't work out.

Kelly wore a bad outfit because that outfit was sexy and beautiful but it also attracted the wrong attention I like how Dylan was not even Kelly's boyfriend at the time in this scene and he protected her so did Steve and I miss Luke Perry so much😢😢
She always had a big bulbous nose. That’s why it was so hard to believe her character had a nose job. Like what did it look like before? 😂 I think contouring helped in the later seasons. Looks like she had her nose done after the show ended. She has a slender tip now but her nose is still big.
Donna wasn’t in a room by herself with a creep. And Donna wasn’t talking sexy to a strange creep. Donna stayed around her friends. Donna doesn’t go around seeking validation from men. So it’s true. It doesn’t matter what you wear it’s your actions while wearing a slutty outfit. If Kelly would have stayed around her friends I’m 💯% sure she wouldn’t have got attacked.

The fact that Kelly is standing there crying with her dress all torn with her best friends and it's still "he said, she said" until Kelly proves she was attacked by telling Brenda that he locked the door and Brenda seeing that the door was really locked - shows just how much women are NOT believed in these situations and how much they have to prove to even their best friends that an assault took place.
