One of the things I loved about this show was being able to fantasize about telling people what I really thought, just like Brenda. In real life, I wouldn't have even gotten two words out before getting slapped 😅
This episode is true to life about how girls interact. There’s always drama and secret animosities, regardless of friendship. Like Kelly saying Donna is not as attractive as Julia Roberts, calling Andrea pretentious while mocking her for having a crush on Brandon. And of course, Amanda is nasty to everyone, and none of these girls really like each other. Guys don’t have this drama. Hanging with guy friends is always more fun, even as a girl.
The fact that Dylan never told Brenda that Kelly tried to get with him while he was dating Brenda means he wasn’t all that trustworthy. And in Season 3, he has no problem cheating. Kelly was a horrible best friend, but Dylan wasn’t a great boyfriend either. Brenda deserved a better friend group.
And she's doing this because she divorced Corey. Key word DIVORCED. And he also got fired from CU because he got busted for his so called "Mendoza Line". And he blamed Brandon for his misfortunes
Before he left the campus, he said to himself. "THIS IS FAR FROM OVER. I WILL RETURN ONE DAY BRANDON WALSH. AND WHEN I DO, I WILL GET YOU EXPELLED. I PROMISE YOU"
Does anyone remember a scene when I think Brandon goes to a AA meeting, and all these alcoholics are mean to him and basically tell him to leave cause he's not hardcore enough?
*"...Of Course ya did, because ya Pregnant..."* ...Grandma Zuckerman is SHARP! (1:45) ...It's sort of insulting to Andrea's character not to have her ACTUAL Mother & Father show up for her, but by then, Gabrielle wanted to take flight....so did SHANNEN, look at her 'happiness', for Andrea....(0:43) ......😑 ....
Babies are never a mistake. There are so many options. Killing another human is never the answer. Use protection. Be smart. Don't be selfish if an accident occurs- it's the miracle of life. Thousands of people are lined up on waiting lists for infants.
Andrea was on a full scholarship at the college and valedictorian of her high school, and her parents refuse to go the wedding? Nice supportive parents.
The scene in the Peach Pit is mildly uncomfortable since Shannen and Gabrielle clearly can’t stand each other. Probably doesn’t help the discussion is about a wedding and everybody was invited to Gabrielle’s except Shannen.
It's ironic, since Andrea got on better with Brenda than she did with Kelly or Donna. If Brenda had been around this season, she'd definitely have helped Andrea as best as she could.
