What the other guy said, plus it is expensive and these are pros. She just had a bad run.

The front tire is very narrow and doesn't provide much friction with the pavement for braking. There's a lot more rubber in the rear but sliding either one is not good. Her comment about the shutdown area being shorter than at some other tracks may be the biggest factor. It may be time for Pro Stock bikes to start installing parachutes.

Front

It's the aerodynamics funnel the smoke , she locked the front. That's why the bike washed out, if the rear tire locks up it bounces. It's a 26×10×15 full softwall slick.

Nothing sexist but most of the girls riding are lightweights and it takes a tremendous amount strength to hold onto these bikes. I think in this case the official waving the riders off the track may have spooked her. She was carrying a bit of speed , panicked and hit the brakes too hard.
