Such an underrated actress, and seems like such a lovely, soft=spoken person. And I loved how the interviewer was so genuinely interested and avoided so many of the dumb, rote questions interviewers normally ask; he was a true fan, you could tell.

This is an exceptional interview. The host has obviously done his work before the interview and was listening to her answers instead of relying on questions in his notepad. And of course her accent is incredible.
She's a great actress and not formally trained. She was a barmaid when she replied to an open advertisement for casting in Trainspotting, got the job and that was the start of her acting career!

Never knew of her before Boardwalk Empire. I'm finally now watching No Country For Old Men and am fully expecting her to be wonderful as she was in Boardwalk. WTG Kelly! You deserve all good things.
After watching no country for old men, I was convinced she was somewhere from the south side, until I saw one of her interviews and was totally surprised that she actually had a Scottish accent. Brilliant!
NCFOM is one of my favorite movies, and I just found out she's Scottish. My mouth just fell open when I heard her natual voice. She CRUSHED that Texas accent.

@@tomconnolly9895 no I'm American but my aunt/uncle and cousins are in Ireland. They all have heavy Irish accents and I've been there many times. Her Irish accent is not perfect. I can tell you her american accents are spot on.
Well, almost every time I was involved in a conversation with a scottish person, I had some difficulties to understand a lot of words. I need to practice more my scottish english.
