Al's favorite actor Larry Storch is coming to dinner and it could mean Kelly's big break.
From Married With Children, Season 9, Episode 21, 'Something Larry This Way Comes'. Kelly gets a big break while attending the Larry Storch School of Acting when she and Larry Storch are to appear on stage in a part of the show "Phantom of the Opera." But when the shoe store owner, Gary, knocks out Larry Storch himself, whom she holds a personal grudge against, Al must leave the midnight madness sale at the shoe store, leaving Griff solo, to go to Kelly's rescue at the theater.

About Married with Children:

I never realized this decades ago but watching this now, the cast of actors don't deserve enough credit. From Al, Peggy, Kelly, Bud, Marcy and Jefferson, even all the other side characters brought their A game to each episode. It's extremely rare that all 4 of the main cast are so loveable and hated at the same time. Truly a magical time to watch this during the 90s. Heck this is one of those shows that aged quite well considering everything in woke culture. Reason being they went waaaay over the top on the men and women stereotypes. An awesome show with true sense of humor

Ed O'Neill got a role in Modern Family and got some great other projects. Katey Sagal was in Son's of Anarchy, voice of Leela in Futurama, mother in 7 Simple Rules etc. She was quite busy. Christina Applegate was a side character in quite a few movies and Dead To Me was amazing imo. She obviously had a lot of trouble in her life. David Faustino did a TON of things, none of which I've ever heard off. Bud, Marcy and Jefferson (and the no ma'am troops) aren't that talented. The show relies on Al, Kelly and Peggy. Marcy exists to be laughed at. Take Kelly out and Bud would be pointless. Take Bud out and Kelly would still be interesting. Jefferson is a great side character who's written around Al and Marcy's characters.

*Christina Applegate is stunningly gorgeous, a terrific actress, and a really nice person.* *I always loved how Bud and Kelly attacked one another on the show, but in real life, David and Christina were close friends.* *I was also thrilled years later when Christina managed to beat breast cancer and was given a clean bill of health.*

The USA has made some great Tv sitcom comedy over the years. But in my opinion, this is the greatest TV SITCOM ever to come from the USA. And the USA has made so many. If you are American you must be so proud of this show. The beautiful thing about this show was that - ALL THE ACTORS - not just the Al Bundy - that made this show great. It was the characters - such as Steve, Marcel, Griff, the Spanish Tv reporter, Jefferson, Kelly, Peggy, and Bud. All of them made the show - so entertaining and fun to watch....And I come from the Uk - that has also made so brilliant Tv sitcom Shows - Like - Steptoe and Son, Monty Python, Benny Hill, Fawlty Towers, Blackadder, Only Fools and Horses, One foot in the grave, Hello, Hello...and Married with Children ranks with them .....

I went many years ago to the theater, local one, small one. 2 hours thing. One of the characters was a mental handicap guy. Deep autistic, asperger, etc... 2h.At the end, all actors go on stage, and there you had, a normal guy thanking the audience. My brain couldnt comprehend there was a disconnect between the character and the actor. However, remember, never go full retard.

Bud & Kelly Bundy, Alex & Mallory Keaton, Axl & Sue Heck and JJ & Thelma Evans: the greatest tv brother/sister duos ever! The chemistry they all had was so believable and ironically despite how all of them fought like cats and dogs onscreen, offscreen they couldn't be closer.

I can't think of another female more beautiful and sexier than Christina Applegate who has graced the small screen. An absolute goddess. Nothing or no-one compares to her. She was funny as hell. For someone that young, she had great timing too. Courtney Cox is a close second, but I couldn't stand that goddam show "Friends". Proud to say, I have never watched a single episode. That lady who starred in Buck Rogers was a stunner too, and the blonde in the Dukes Of Hazzard. Shelly Long had a very pretty face. Those TV women in the 80s and 90s were simply amazing.

Kaley Cuoco was and is hotter, she is way funnier and more successful, plus there are not many dumb blonde characters on show. I will give Christina credit: she is WAY better than Lisa Kudrow.
