I've always said surfing is the coolest sport because it's just a piece of wood and mother nature. I've now reconsidered...this is why.

Priority might not have helped Machado much. But then again it just might have.. In a competition, especially a prestigious one like the pipe masters, giving away your priority and the chance of maybe getting another high scoring wave is, well what is it really? Maybe it's a testament to the difference in archetype of man? What is kindness and what place does it have in the "sport" of surfing and in our society? A lot can be read in to The high five that's for sure.
