On the south east side? Nice! I always thought you had to hit the west side of the island for yellows! Have you had any luck on the SE side recently???
What do you look for when you’re out there? Birds? Patties? Fish marks on the finder? All of it? Me and my friends are having a hell of a time tracking down some tuna with our 23fter.
CK_32 if your willing to spend a couple hundred bucks, check out fishdope.com. I live in Vegas, so I'm only able to get my boat out there a few times a summer. With fishdope, it just doesn't get much easier. They give you the coordinates where the fish are biting. During this time of year it's just a daily update, but when things start heating up, its twice a day.
+surfer soldier for Christ Live Sardine and chunk.A steady chunk line keeps the fish with the boat. As for line 40# mono on this trip although on previous trips I have used 80# Spectra to a four foot piece of 50# flouro and that got bit well. Thanks for watching.
What’s your method or what do you use to know when the waters going to be calm like in your video or if it’s gonna kick your ass and gonna make you sick the moment you stop? What’s an ideal ride?
Gotta go out and look for free floating kelp paddies...get binoculars and scan the waves for gold that's what you'll see you'll see gold way out on the water and head for it
