4:05 Thats because the round itself is not sliding up into the chamber as smooth as it should. When the nose hits that load ramp its a hit and miss if it goes in. Out of ~12 mags, i would get about 3 times where the nose of the round gets stuck there at the entrance ramp of the chamber, just a tap gets it in there everytime
It should be loaded with 15+1 for a while. Also Kel-tec doesn’t recommend using the slide Stop. after inserting the magazines, use slingshot method according to manual
Love the P17, and even more now that I've got the slide w/optic. Appreciate the review. Don't hear the ringing sound here. All the best. "The JJ" SW Penna.
Nice video! I've had a similar kind of feeding problem with my Canik Mete SFX Pro and WIn +P JHP 124gr rounds. Those rounds have unusually long bullets that would get stuck between the slide and the feed ramp, halfway out of the magazine, if I were to let go of the slide gently as opposed to slinging it. I polished the feed ramp (dremel + dense cotton tips + mag/aluminum polish) and the problem went away.
