Kelvin and Oti American Smooth to Gaston - Week 11 Musicals | BBC Strictly 2019 

This was like watching a Disney production. Every step, every mannerism was perfection. I think Craig downmarks on purpose to get the attention. This dance was totally deserving of 40. Kelvin and Oti are a class act.

Should have been X4 10's. Perfect, a pure paragon Gaston. Well done K&O, a simply 'gorgeous' American Smooth. Classy. Broadway is calling...and the Finals.

He is in great character and posture! And he actually kinda does look like gaston! This was ALMOST Perfection. He just got ahead of himself couple of times. Other than that, FAN - TAS - TIC!!! 9!!!

Ooh I love it! Kelvin makes an oddly charming Gaston and fantastically character driven. Love the dance, footwork was out of time only in one section I counted. Brilliant! Simply brilliant 9.5

Amazing! This was made for Kelvin! He fits Gaston so perfectly! Kinda wish it got a 40. I'd expect it more of Kelvin than Karim. And such great use of the sets! I love Musicals Week, because the dances always look like an actual West End or Broadway production, something I never got to see! And this embodied it! Love you, Kelvin and Oti!!

It almost looked a bit Viennese Waltzy. It was still fantastic though, the chandelier was brill and the table section was slick and fabulous, brilliant standing spin almost fleckel looking section on the table. His frame was brilliant and his commitment was amazing. He really acted it well tonight, all the flare and confidence was there I really liked the routine also Kelvin is a very good all rounder, no wonder he always gets the highest scores. One of the best American Smooth ever brilliant feather cross overs and brill routine and stage acting. *10/10*

Gutted that they didn't get 4 x 10's - especially as Craig's comment about timing was vehemently overruled by Shirley, Oti and Bruno. He danced and acted the role to perfection imho. Team Floti here too.

As a performance, it was like watching the best number on West-End or Broadway! As a number, this American Smooth was absolutely gorgeous! Kelvin's sense of rhythm is OUT OF THIS WORLD, his partnership with Oti is fabulous, his frame was superb and the transitions between each and every step as well as in and out of lifts were so, so seamless! However, as a Viennese Waltz, technique-wise, as much as it was strong, it wasn't flawless. I wanted to see much more sway and I wanted him to push the balls of his feet much harder into the floor while moving backwards. As a show number, it was top-notch, but for the perspective of ballroom technique, it could have been even stronger. An 8.

Wow. My 2nd favorite dance of the night behind Karim’s. 💯💯💯👏🏽👏🏽❤️😍I love Beauty and the Beast. This is how you choreograph a dance to a theme and still have the right amount of dance content of the actual dance you are assigned. Oti did amazing with this choreography. I was expecting the scores that they got before before they even showed them at the end of this video.

This was amazing. I think this was a very good musical week. I loved this dance and karims. Also i wasn't expecting faye and Charles in the audience so good to see familiar faces

Watching that was just like being at the theatre. Oti and Kelvin do not do things by halves. Excellent choreography and brilliant acting and dance from Kelvin. That deserved a 40! What is wrong with Craig. Why is he punishing Kelvin and Oti?
