No kemi, that is not the governments job. The government job is to decide the legislative agenda for parliament. It is parliaments job to deliver for the people, parliament are the peoples representatives, not the government. The government are the King's representatives in Parliament. They fulfill the role of the monarch in proposing legislation. The government is appointed by Parliament to drive the legislative agenda. Parliament is answerable to the people. Parliament decides whether the Kings proposals should become law, that's why we had a civil war, to prevent the King proposing and enacting laws. Sheesh, doesn't even understand her constitutional role. Trying to promote herself to an elected democratically accountable government minister....no kemi, that isn't the situation.

Deliver what the people want? They want a new government. Please deliver.

I am sick of politicians suggesting 'this is what the country wants or the people want' no it isn't. It is their bent ,interpretation of what they think the country wants or the people want,which in itself, is a downright lie. Not in my name

I honestly think that any minister who doesn't directly answer a question in the commons or at a select committee should immediately be fired. They are public servants. It's simply not acceptable that they should be held to a lower standard than a court of law, or even an employment tribunal.

So much for ‘Parliament is sovereign’. Ministers constantly talk about doing what the people want. If they are so confident about this let’s have a general election. Ministers just use these words to do what the hell they want and ram through what they want. Kemi Badenoch is one of the most arrogant and disrespectful ministers. Sunak claimed he would bring back integrity and accountability - little evidence of this from him and his ministers.
