Front height for me is a huge which is why I really like a lot of the QK/Neo boards. I love my GEM80 as well but it's definitely taller than the Neo80 and that makes a difference for me when typing.
On the other hand, if you use an acrylic (especially frosted!) PALM (not wrist rest- nobody should use a "wrist" rest) rest, the front-facing light bar probably would look really cool Battery pack is a really smart idea Ahh, no QMK/VIA/VIAL… bunk board
Too bad they have those terribly ugly centered, all-caps legends, without even backlighting. No idea who decided to do that. Even macs realize how disgusting that is and go lowercase or symbols-only even though they use the centered backlighting. Even GMK has changed their beautiful legends to this crap on the gimmick profile they released. Only Akko solved this so long ago by placing the legends properly on their sublegend-containing sets a while back and using symbols on the mods, but for some reason never did it again
