Ken Delo discusses his time on The Lawrence Welk Show from 1969 to 1982 

Ken Delo was first introduced to Lawrence Welk by Arthur Duncan who knew Ken from their days performing in Australia. After a guest appearance on the show and a great viewer response, Welk hired Delo to be a full-time cast member in 1969. He stayed with the show until it's end on commercial television in 1982. He went on to perform in most of the PBS Pledge Specials that followed the weekly show.
