App. this match was in 10/1990: I thought Patera remained a face wrestler from approximately 1987-on while Billy Jack turned heel in 1989 Portland, went to Memphis in1991(?) and was still hated and then just faded from the scene. Strongman both.
Patera was out of his prime,Billy Jack was approaching the sunset of his career...Billy Jack had potential,Patera was... Patera who couldn t hold a candle next to today's strong men.
Patera was a weightlifter, not a strongman. Different sports and in some select events 70's Patera could still compete with today's strongmen in strongman.
Billy Jack is off of steroids and looks like a normal person. Vince McMahon made his wrestlers like Curt Henning and others take so many steroids it flipped them out mentally and they turned to Meth, Heroin and Cocaine sadely.

wont get good wrestling like this today. Today we are shown only kids on steroids. I prefer seeing all age wrestlers and all body types not just kids on steroid bodies.
