I have a poster with Cowboy Bob Ellis you’ve probably never seen. There are several lady wrestlers, and a few midget wrestlers, as well as Logger Larson and a few others on the poster. The ladies seemed to have been completely forgotten. Tess Anderson, Dorothy Malone, Little Donna. I know for a fact where Tess Anderson is right now. She’s living in Somerville, Tennessee. I know because she’s my mother.

Mr. Lisowski proved himself a true champion. Tough and sturdy to the bone. He is missed. Mulligan was a blowhard and not as mighty.

I remember that life in Chicago at the time was never better than when Dick the Bruiser had Bobby Heenan in the ring. OHHHHHH how we yelled! Yes I was lucky enough to see this at the Amphitheater.

This is the old time rassling I grew up with. I lived in Omaha so it was all AWA events. In the 70s and early 80s they had a great group of talent. It was a blast to watch.

My favorite mixed midget match has King Kong Bunny squashing midget Little Beaver. It seems to be a law of wrestling physics that if a midget gets mixed up with the big boys, the midget gets crushed.

Smith could’ve destroyed Funk easily. He was feared by players at the UT who has previously played with Orndorff and Matuszak and on top of that he was a great collegiate wrestler.

Two absolute legends in the ring. Bronco Lubich was supposed to officiate this important match but he got hold of some bad sushi that day at lunch and was unable to answer the bell so to speak.

Oh that's the Ox? I remember when I was a kid, Dr. Bill Miller was talking trash about how he had a secret weapon to destroy Bruno Sammartino, but all he did was show a picture of this guy. But Miller said he came from Mongolia. He looked so big and scary, I was so afraid that he would beat Bruno.
