I acquired this bass, plugged it in and filmed it. Playing along to a Mary J Blige song, 'Why'. I always hear that a Smith is a perfect bass for small speakers, like a phone etc. Always punches through.
You have a crazy sound, really, I never get tired of listening to you. As for your new bass, I wish you all the best even if you certainly don't need the Ken Smith to convey your emotions, because you would do just fine with a broomstick too. Compliments !!! ❤
There are a lot of things that didn’t come naturally, so I had to work and still do. But not my technique. I had that very early. So I only think about that when playing something out of the comfort zone. (And there is a lot 😬)
Deze bas heeft alles wat ik niet wil, 2 octaafs, doorlopende neck, ebony toets, humbuckers, gelamineerd, actief, 6string en zwaar. Maarja….hij is fantastisch. 🤷♂️
