We should appreciate how this video, and Duotone as a company, and also Ken himself... acknowledge that innovation is not accredited to one person but various people and facets from the industry years down the line. It's impressive how they even show Pete Cabrinha (rival brand) had one of the earliest experimental hand wings. My respect to Duotone and Ken Winner has grown even more with this.

I have tried various wings, and the Duotone Slick with the boom is my favorite. I think changing from floppy handles to a solid boom was a big step forward. Thanks Ken!

Amazing story..,. Wrapping up an amazing 2022 of winging, a few days in Maui - rental gear from HT (Quattro 105lt_ various wings, few weeks in the Gorge in mid July. personally own two Duotone Echo's from 2020/2022. And come 2022, have two Slick and Slick SLS. New Fanatic Skywing 5'4" 95lt... I windsurf, kite board, but with winging... new territory. lots of progress and enjoying the progression of the sport as well. Great work by Ken, Sky and all others. Thanks for sticking with and keep innovating. .

Didn't know the back story on Flash Austin. He was also one of the pioneers of Kitesurfing.
