I agree with this but to play devils advocate Kel had the funnier character Kenan was the straight man and Kel was the goofball So that gave him more room to be funny and steal the show That makes sense ?

I dont think keenan ever needed kel. Kel has more raw talent but keenan is more refined. The reason he was able to do SNL and do commercials and other stuff post nickelodeon and kel kind of fizzled out.

Kenan knows he's no Eddie Murphy, he wants to get paid, and the SNL check must be sweet.. He was going to quit a few years ago, but realized it was a steady paycheck, who cares he's hasn't broken out..when his sitcom failed, that's when he thought it would be foolish to quit, and trust me wifey helped him decide that one..😂.. So many leave for their vanity projects to never be heard of again..I loved Bob Moynihan.. He left for a big shot Ted Danson sitcom. Canceled after one season.. He now doing game shows.. He was hilarious on SNL.. Now he's doing game shows..what a waste..

On Kenan & Kel, Kenan played more of the straight man while Kel was the one telling and performing most of the jokes. Maybe his ego got too big and maybe he bombed the SNL audition. Ultimately those networks are making decisions for various reasons. I'm not sure if they got it right or not. SNL since Kenan joined has never really been that good and also started to feel very corporate. Kel might've been a more popular choice amongst the viwers tbh

First of all, dang. I haven't seen the movie yet, but thanks for the spoilers, lol. Second, Keenan isn't the only one to blame for the feud. Kel distanced himself after coming to the unfortunate realization that just because you're the most talented, it doesn't mean you'll be the it guy (or girl). It sucks, but it's happened to so many actors regardless of race. Kel thought he was "the guy," and when that didn't happen, he checked out. I'm not sure what their relationship is like with Nick "Cheaper by the dozen" Cannon, but they showed up for the All That reunion on Wild n Out, so I imagine it's still good. Lastly, if we're being honest, despite being the veterans of Nickelodeon Kel nor Keenan for that matter, had the big success like they deserved. Kel got typecasted and took on some emasculating roles (like his transgender character on The Parkers) and even though he's the longest lasting member on SNL, Keenan didn't get the same opportunities as Tracy Morgan, Tina Fey or Jimmy Fallon. Honestly, the Nick stars who's careers really blew up are Nick Cannon, Ariana Grande, Emma Roberts and Amanda Bynes (before she went off the rails). At end of the day, glad Keenan and Kel patched things up. Their one of the few friendships in Hollywood worth rooting for.

However I've been watching their relationship personally, and Kenan absolutely snubbed Kel along the way. He's just doing pr recovery damage with this interview. And yeah emasculating roles aside because Kenan had a quite a few over the years being on snl as well, Kel has been in prominent roles like game shakers, Clifford the big red dog, a few other black sitcoms etc. Kenan didn't even come to Kels wedding, I never forget the post he put up instagram and how he looked. Kenan had ALWAYS given off weird, opportunistic vibes from the start. Even in the Kenan and kel show theme song coolio said" and you gotta watch Kenan cuz, Kenan be scheming. With plan or a plot to make it to the top, " and while that was the show opening, that's LITERALLY been Kenan whole memo through his career. The reason why Kenan hasn't really gotten other opportunities like the rest of Snl cast is because he's dry-pan, lol. If you watch the rest of Good Burger 2, which has a whole lot more revealed than I spoke about lol you'll see that too. It wasn't even Kenan energy like before it was just...him and bland, lol. So yeah I've seen it all to well, I have a friend now I don't speak too much because they're EXACTLY like Kenan to be honest and I just realized that he didn't care as much about our friendship as he wanted me to believe, but he'll come around for opportunities or brownie points to say he did lol, and that's EXACTLY what Kenan did in good burger 2 if you pay close attention to the rest In the movie they're trying to tell us indirectly pretty much

Well hold up Kenan has been in plenty of movies during his run on SNL but he does need to break away from the show do more edgy stuff since mostly his movies our kid friendly films Fat Albert, Good Burger 2,Trolls Band Together, and Clifford The Big Red Movie. Nothing edgy or hardcore about those films.
