Everyone loves to hate on kendall and blame her for being treated with "favouritism" but she genuenly worked hard for her position and did nothing wrong but be her true self and put in the work. She's such a kind soul and I'll forever support her 💞
My Vcha bias. I don't care if she is not the best dancer or the best singer in the group... She has that x factor and charm that is essential to being an idol. Being an idol is far more than just singing and dancing.
I always cry when kendall cries 😭 she's such a precious little cinnamon bun I swear. just the quiet, sincere girl who wants to express herself. she deserves all the love she gets
well yeah she work hard we can see that, but u can clearly see he is always saying more things and more like compliments to her and i mean evreyone did so good but she always got like the extra special treatmenat, but i understand your point we love KENDALL
the first time I saw Kendall, I knew she had so much potential. I teared up whenever Kendall cried, she worked very hard. I’m so proud of her. She is my inspiration to learn art, sing and dance more. Kendall is truly amazing. 💕I’ll always root for her. I’m so glad she debuted
kendall's improvement throughout the show, from their debut, and even to now is insane!! :') she radiates so much confidence now and she has improved so much on her vocals and dance too!!
Kendall Ebeling: the girl despised by everyone for being JYP's favorite and getting "more talented" girls like Gina, Cristina, and especially Mischa booted from the lineup. Never mind JYP didn't have a set number of slots for VCHA so could easily have kept those girls around but chose not to. Kendall still worked for her slot. The idea her parents bribed JYP is absurd. Simple fact is vocal and dance skills are easier to train than emotion/expression and stage presence. I like her.
A lot of ppl hated (and hate) on her because she “isn't good enough” and she made a lot of mistakes on the show. But I think that learning a new vocal technique that is totally different for you is something VERY difficult to achieve, especially in one day. That's admirable, and so crazy. Kendall may not be the best at VCHA, but she has a lot of passion, because learning that fast isn't for everyone. Perhaps there was preference at the beginning since she is considered visual, but I always saw that she was treated the same as the others. JYP saw things in her that yall didn't, because he knows about this. I'm glad she debuted, and she deserves it. She's the example of what perseverance and passion can do.
I really like Kendall. She has such a calming, pleasant, and sincere vibe about her. I immediately thought of actress Danica McKellar from The Wonder Years (an old 80’s show) when I saw Kendall for the first time.💕 💕
I dont care what anyone says her voice may mot have been the best but shes the most talented on camera for sure. Like as a performer from her facial expressions and aura she always had that idol vibe that cant be taught. Idk why people act like that doesn’t matter especially when many idols like Wonyoung debuted for that very reason.
There were questions by many online why Kendall was chosen and not some others. To those, I would say you don't understand JYP at all. He doesn't just choose members on advance skills because he knows people with potential can learn those skills through the JYP Entertainment training system. He always looked for the intangibles that can't be taught like expression, passion, and commitment. Kendall may be a dark horse to some, but I had her picked from the beginning because of her unassuming charm and dedication.
When it was the part where they were showing their talents, and JYP complimented and acknowledged how eloquent Kendall is with her words you can really see now during interviews how good Kendall is at them.
30 yrs experience in talent scouting, JYP really know what he is doing, I remember during a2k a lot is angry becoz jyp's bias is kendall. But look at now, he know what he is doing , and he really can see the trajectory of Kendall
i was never too big on kendall during a2k but especially since the new comeback i’m so glad she’s in the group and i 100% see her potential now, she’s my bias wrecker 🩷
She is so talented, she's improved so much during A2K, she is a great addition to VCHA, but for some reason I just can't get myself to like her vocals.
Kendall definitely belongs in Vcha, she worked on the things she was told she needed to work on. And when it came down to choosing the members all the teachers/coaches that worked with her said they liked working with her.
AWEE KAYLEE WAS SO SUPPORTIVE LIKE IN THE BEGINING WHEN KEDALL COULDNT SING WITH HER FULL VOICE WHEN SHE GOT IT EVERYBODY WAS SO SUPPORTIVE LIKE KAYLEE HUGGED KENDALL AND EVERYBODY WAS SO KIND!!! WHY AM I TYPING IN ALL CAPS??? IDK BUT YEAH BYEEE HEART HEART
Wow..she so pretty, so good & hard working before. Why people didnt realize it? The only one need improvement is her vocal but she improve so much now. She doing great. I like her more n more after watching this video. JYP make a right choice❤
To anyone reading you are so beautiful, don’t compare yourself, you truly make the world way better. Always choose to help the environment and those who have it worse rather than luxury, take care of your psychical and mental healthq, connect to your inner child, what you dreamed about and chase those dreams💞💞
Yeah I almost always prefer natural hair colors on idols -- the red she currently has doesn't really flatter her the way her normal brown does -- e.g. Savanna would look ridiculous with anything but black hair (highlights are cool tho'), so would Kaylee or Lexus (both full-Asian) or Camila (Latina with dark-tan skin)
13:39 my face rn Because Kendall is so good at singing hello? Even though her voice was in a bad state and kinda sounded like it was about to crack you can still here the skills and efforts. She has so much potential, give her voice more rest and bam: perfect singing.
i dont understand the last comment about everyone hating kendall/// IMO. she may have not been the most talented but when she performs, she somehow draws in my attention to her and that alone is an important skill to be a star!!! go kendall go... i do have a bias, but for sake of the group which is the very important, i will just say i love all you girls!!! go show the world how special you girls are!!!!!
My issue isnt that she got picked because she very much fits the image and concept of VCHA better than the eliminated participants. However JYP didn’t give her proper constructive criticism this entire show. At one point he even said her vocals were perfect when they were far from it.
i think she is talented, but you cant deny that her vocals and stability are bellow average, and they dont improve that much. tho i dont think it is her fault, since jyp didnt criticise it most of the time and when he said it was perfect it was really not, so she didnt have that pressure to improve
How are you gonna have a Journey to VCHA for Kendall and not include her hitting the high note in Wannabe?!? That was such a huge moment for her and you cut it out...
I think what made people think poorly of Kendall was that at the beginning, for example, she didn't just say she learned quickly and did the dance in Korea, she said she did better than others. That attitude of her to say she was better than others and then proceed to dance the way she did made her seem disconected and conceited. She kept saying she thought she was really good and made excuse to why her voice didn't sound good, but it was justthe way it sounds. She wasn't just "being honest", she thought she was better than she actually was and that is perceived as conceited. Also, people sometimes forget how she was voted lowest by the other girls. I don't think the girls were put off by her being and introvert but at the fact she didn't just seem confidenti, she seemed to think she was better rhan sge actually is and even better than others.
ahaha i thought it was a little off when she said those things too, like if i was in auditioning and also had some experience I would've still kept it a little humble LOL but i was guessing she was just trying to appeal to the staff and jyp that she's a fast learner and that she has practiced these skills for a long time, which clearly worked because it's what they want to hear. even though she might have not matched up to the expectation, I think she definitely knew what to say, like she's ready for job interviews haha (which she won't need to do obviously since she is already in VCHA for her job lol but yeah)
@@osnapitzbritxx I know. But just that line of keeping it humble. In my opinion she always gave that "I'm better than others" vibes. I don't hate her nor would I say just mean things for no reason but I don't like her much because she gives me those vibes still. I like confident people, but again, she gives me " a little more than confident" vibes😅 so I do understand why people might not like her
@@Kaybye555that was two years ago honestly let it go. she was probably just nervous and rambling on. she didn’t even seem to say it out of malice. also remember she was praised and ranked high for her character on the show.
honestly, i was not happy about the fact that she became an idol but i understand how much work it takes to get to the end of the competition + she has improved so much since A2K so honestly im not mad abt it - i think she deserves to be there 🤍
