Kendo main here. Great job playing her. I just wanted to point out that at 6:43 the Iida kicked you out the shield cuz the shield wasn't fully activated at the time. The shield as a little flash effect that shows when it's full, it doesn't work instantly upon button press.
I've been maining her for a long time and yeah compared to season 2 you see a lot more kendos, which is really nice. I do think that right now there are no "bad characters", of course some are still stronger than others but now its easier to pick up the character with the playstyle you like compared to season 2 where there were really only like 5 competitive available characters. Also yeah most people level up the clap first, I usually do alpha 4 > gamma 4 > alpha max > gamma max > beta max, I dont know if its optimal but I like to play her by "alpha gliding" while aproacing the enemy and go for that nice melee combo(that thing feels so good to land) and tbh I picked her up because I enjoy doing the melee combo a lot.
Kendo is a very scary character to fight, she is a close range monster. Out of her and Kirishima I definitely think she is stronger. good games trash. 17:58 Kendo plane, Kendo plane
I no longer see ochako and surprisingly..... Bakugo, at the rate which he used to appear in previous seasons, shoto also disappeared, it's now kaminari representing strikers in this new season the most, i just feel like people are getting more diverse with the roster
I feel most todo players flooded over to denki because of the ice nerf (despite it still being very strong) as denki stun lasts so much longer, the aim assist nerf made people switch a lot to. With ochako iida and tsu are just better since both have insane tracking abilities to do damage on top of instant revives
Yes Kendo is good but if you fight someone who knows how to maintain space or a second person enters the equation, she is going to start to struggle unless they're bad.
i usually try to do 2x of the first 2 melee hits, then i hit them with rocks & then try clapping after a roll attempt, it usually works. but i had no idea you can Rocks after a full melee combo, Now i've been thinking i've been trying to act fancy for no reason.
