Dang I could listen to these 3 for hours.

I never knew just how well rounded, well spoken, and intelligent Kendrick was. So insightful, as well. I appreciate how he said, it wasn’t his dads affiliation, but his mom being a dreamer that kept him OUT of a gang. Despite their circumstances , they gave him a duality that helped him succeed. At such a young age he was able to recognize that and get straight As, while still being “cool” and respected by peers. He had EVERY EXCUSE to fail. So many kids have so much MORE & blame it on upbringing, poverty, racism, etc as a reason to do nothing and fail. Kendrick, took the gifts he had & knew what he had to do to come out on top. Taylor mouthing his lyrics is not mind blowing. She’s no better of a person than he is. There really needs to be a movie about his life. He’s absolutely brilliant.
