Kendrick Lamar is the greatest rapper of this era he is literally a GENIUS his bars are so complex that more often than not they will go over your head he is one of the most versatile MC’s to ever pick up a Microphone he truly is one of a kind and there is always a message in his songs it’s not to many rappers that can make a club banger out of a diss song and then include a history lesson in the song. He was a straight A student throughout school this dude is cut from a different cloth for well over 40 years the crips and bloods have been blood enemies and he brought them together without any incidents or altercations and that’s something no one else has ever been able to do. Gene this young man is really something special.

I don't know why people consider Jay Z among the top rappers? He's a sellout like Diddy. He sold out long time friend & business partner, Dame Dash, for greed to go w/ culture vulture Lior Cohen. And he's subsequently interfered/ended many talented black artist’s careers. He even stopped DMX's music from coming out as scheduled bc he wanted ALL the glory. Lastly, he's not even a very good rapper imo. His voice is monotone & lacks variety, complexity, storytelling & passion like the other greats.
