Kendrick honestly might be the best rapper these days. He treats music as an art. Recommend checking out songs off of To Pimp A Butterfly. Arguably one of the best rap albums ever made. If you like deep lyrics that's all connected, you'll love that album. It's basically his life story.

I love Kendrick and I like this song, but this ain’t the one to react to. It’s a good song, but it’s not one of the go-to type of songs. Like if you don’t know his music, or if you never heard this album, this not really the one to hear first. Especially since this is pretty much a concept album and hearing this song is like starting a book right in the middle of it. For this album your best bet is to do either Bitch Don’t Kill My Vibe, m.A.A.d city, Money Trees, or Swimming Pools. Swimming Pools he said he took kind of a Bone Thugs approach on that one. Maybe the song Poetic Justice depending on who you ask. Some would also say the song Sing About Me I’m Dying Of Thirst, but I personally would not advise that one as a solitude reaction. It’s incredible and those who check it out usually do like it, but it’s best when you hear it in the context of the album. With all the songs that come before it.
