I am a drake fan but so far everything Kenny says hit more home and he just ended everything with this, like look at the cover, the bottles have drake legal name on them 😂😂. Kenny really got a snitch inside ovo 😂
the hardest moment was " you lied ' and the absolute nod to piano and hard drum and string ending ! - this ain't a rap battle this is a never ending battle within your self- is going to eat him away for ever.
@@NotJakeSmithit’s so much deeper and darker. “Fuck a rap Battle this long life battle with yourself. It sound like Kendrick messed up and switched life-long up When has dot ever made a mistake lyrically on wax? A long life battle? He’s saying Drake gonna have to struggle with suicidal thoughts soon. Battling with his thoughts of not having a long life. Sheesh. Should stayed inside
Drake made a diss record for his fans to listen to. Kendrick made a diss record directly for Drake to listen to and we just get to hear it. This was diabolical
History do repeats itself. Sometimes it don't need a reason." 2. "You lied about the only artist that can offer you some help, fuck a rap battle, this a long life battle with yourself." Kendrick never disappoint.
It’s so stupid the assume a man isn’t in his kid’s life just because you can’t physically see it. You never seen J Cole kids like that. Doesn’t mean he isn’t an active father. I’d keep my kids away from this evil music industry and yall fans that look for drama in everything.
@@SodapopSunriseyou’re right. Kendrick’s sounds good and is good. Drakes just sounds good. There’s a big difference 🤷🏻♂️ I wish drake wasn’t so boring to me.
Just say you can't read and move on 😭 The whole song is about Drake, yeah Kendrick speaks directly to members of his family...but all about Drake and how shit he is. The whole song is exposing Drake. How are you guys not able to read?
The most brutal diss ever. Surpasses "Hit 'em up" with flying colors. You can tell he knows what he's saying is true. Straight verbal execution. Drake is history.
I remember when ether came out and i never thought there would be another track that personal as what nas did to jay-z. then along came kendrick lamar.
in my 14 years of listening to rap, i have NEVER seen a disstrack this diabolical, hurtful and crazy. if i was drake, id retire already. drake lost, theres no hope.
Yeah this wasn’t even a battle 😭🤣☠️ Drake should have pulled a homer and stayed in them bushes🤣☠️ That’s ok tho he found out the hard way, Kendrick put his ass in them bushes🤣☠️
The man opened by addressing and speaking to Drake's son, by NAME......AS THE FUCKING OPENING SENTENCE!!!!! I have N E V E R heard a diss track OPEN OUT GATE so disrectfully!!!! This isn't a diss anymore, now it's PERSONAL. You don't speak on a man's family. This entire song was written/spoken DIRECTLY to Drake: we just happen to have the access to the audio. This isn't a fucking performance piece anymore, now it's a war on PRINCIPLE!!!
Kendrick’s the GOAT. Ain’t no way Drake can come back with something close to this. Kendrick’s just one of the best lyricists of the whole rap industry.
@@18wheelzofsteel53 he seemed fine with it when he dropped a diss track, now it’s pointless? He did the equivalent of going up to someone and slapping them, then he apologized for slapping them.
@@Anne_one it is pointless. What they beefing for? Do you know? I don’t. Maybe the guy changed his mind. 2pac apologized to Nas for dissing him on against all odds and said he was gonna remove the diss from the song. People grow up and grow past childish things.
this is masterpiece Nothing beats a u t h e n t I c v i e w s when you're tryna level up to the big singers and get that same popularity they got. Even Kendrick Lamar got a boost from that.
Hit em up is still the most dangerous and destructive. I said "people are going to get killed over this" right after I first heard it, the day it dropped.
Drake fans don’t like this because they can’t shake ass to it, it’s a battle of bars, not hooks and beats. Real rap battles don’t have a beat because the lyrics are what’s important.
there is no way he messaged his family, wrote the lyrics, recorded, got the piano track, mixed it all together, and shipped it off in the span of 45 minutes. this was premeditated MURDER
I feel like every artist has a ghost writer or someone to help with their lyrics like before you release an essay you have others review it and correct it
Kendrick is so disappointed in Drake's ability (or rather, inability) to raise his kids properly that he stepped up and gave them life lessons in a diss track
The younger generation has no idea what beef rap is. This is what an actual diss track sounds like. Not the catchy words, but actually catch the words. 💫
@@HotaruLancelot302 that’s what a true lyricist does. Kendrick is remaining current to what hip-hop is today all while providing true substance to his music. That’s the difference between an entertainer (Drake) and a lyricist (Kendrick). Kendrick is what hip-hop needs. Majority of all these rappers are entertainers, they are for our enjoyment but people like Kendrick make you think, feel, and truly understand what’s going on right in front of you. A poet. Bring back poetry in hip-hop 💛💫
Respectfully, shut the hell up, either you're about as young as the ipad kids trying to fit in like a pick me to a football team or you an old head wasting time on the internet, go sit down somewhere, please.
But didn't drake feed him all false info b4 he dropped this 🤔 I just want the God honest truth its not like we all really know why the beef started with future drake metro n Kendrick idk
@@juicymuscprod9624 I mean nobody does, tbh. But I’ve honestly never heard an accusation that drake was a pedophile. 🤷🏻♂️ so false claiming someone is a predator is pretty crazy, I’m sure drake would have 100 lawsuits against him.
I am going to say this. I'm not a huge Kendrick fan. I respect him. He is a lyricist for real. But this has to go down as one of if not THE BEST DISS TRACK EVERRRRRRR. The man wrote a letter to Drake's immediate family and exposed him for the dirt bag he is. The man surgically dismantled Drake. This wasn't a shouting shit talking track like all the others. This was truly personal and diabolical. Best diss track ever
I absolutely agree. If the allegations are true, then this is one of the greatest diss tracks of all time, if not like top 5. And while almost everyone in these comments seem to agree that Kendrick is winning hard, it’s surprising that most aren’t (yet) recognizing history being made. And I’m not saying this as a Drake hater or Kendrick lover…
The fact that Kendrick is out here telling another man's daughter that she's loved and has the gift to change the world and being respectful to literally his whole family, while simultaneously roasting Drake is actually insane in every good way possible. Literally the coolest person ever I was never really his fan but now I'm speed running through all of his music
Ive been listening to hip hop since the 80s and this isnt for the club. This is for all the Drake fans to think about who they idolize and put they trust in! Lets see if what Kendrick is saying is true!
Drake seems to be punching the surface, but Kendrick is literally attacking his character as a man. Like painting Drakes inauthenticity as mask to bury shame. This even made me self reflect on my own shame. Like damn, I need some stuff resolved in therapy.
Stop because I really do relate to this comment. Like.. Kendrick had NO BUSINESS making me lowkey shake in my boots. This is an amazing year to be a Kendrick fan imo, he’s attacking every aspect of Drake, he even said that Drake shouldn’t lie about him and he wouldn’t expose all his truths. He did just as he said he would.
Y'all see, not everything on this song may be real, but what's real is Drake has Adonis, and Drake is already pressured to be a damn near perfect father to Adonis or else, Adonis might turn rebellious, think Kendrick is right (even view him as his hero), and leave his dad. And that shit is already planted by Kendrick to everyone's mind, Drake can't remove that pressure, it will stay on him forever. Now that's just the first verse, if all the other verses are real, Drake is totally cooked.
Ive been listening to Hip Hop since '91, and this is the harshest and most diabolical diss track I've ever heard. Kendrick went for the throat with this one. This shit right here is venomous and brutal. He really and truly hates Drake. So do I, so I love being here for this.
“It’s some weird shit goin on and some of these artists be here to police it” gave me chills. I couldn’t really give a damn about this rap battle shit but I’m taking Kendrick’s side for being the one to point it out.
There's a lot of human trafficking in the industry. Blows my mind that rappers I looked up to have gone down such a devish path. Which is was 2000s again.
For the ones who say they don’t like the beat, there is a reason why he chose this beat because it sounds sad and depressing, the topics in this song from child trafficking, him abandoning his kids, him being abandoned and not accepting who he is are all sad topics the beat fits perfectly.
