I am going to say this. I'm not a huge Kendrick fan. I respect him. He is a lyricist for real. But this has to go down as one of if not THE BEST DISS TRACK EVERRRRRRR. The man wrote a letter to Drake's immediate family and exposed him for the dirt bag he is. The man surgically dismantled Drake. This wasn't a shouting shit talking track like all the others. I absolutely agree. If the allegations are true, then this is one of the greatest diss tracks of all time, if not like top 5. And while almost everyone in these comments seem to agree that Kendrick is winning hard, it’s surprising that most aren’t (yet) recognizing history being made. For the ones who say they don’t like the beat, there is a reason why he chose this beat because it sounds sad and depressing, the topics in this song from child trafficking, him abandoning his kids, him being abandoned and not accepting who he is are all sad topics the beat fits perfectly.
