"I know ya'll love it when the drugs talkin, but shut the fuck up when you hear love talkin, If God be the source then I'm the plug talkin" -KENDRICK LAMAR 🐐

Literally on the last track of this album, "run away from culture." Culture is so 1800s. It's 2022, fuck culture and morality. Be conscious, not moral. Moral is what creates war. Be conscious. Consciousness over culture, rules. Just be sincere without bullshit culture.
2:15 "IF GOD BE THE SOOOOOOOOURCE, THEN I AM THE PLUG TAAAAAALKIN" ....I love how Summer Kendrick and the Live instruments just marry together on that part....Like a warm hug
I feel really sorry for the people who didn't enjoy this masterpiece of an album. Many songs you could listen in the car if you reset your mind from all the bullshit mainstream music. Thanks Kendrick!
@@cpt.stranglewank9569 it's not his best, neither a skip for me. The only songs I skip in this album are we cry together and aunties diaries. Both brilliant songs, but not something I could listen to regularly.
I love underground, and I love Kendrick, but are you trying to say Kendrick isn't mainstream? He's got 1 RIAA Gold and 7 Platinums on 4 albums, and this album debuted at number 1. Artists from Khalid to David Bowie have cited him as an influence. I agree that there's a lot of music that's popular and bad, and that's always been the case. "How Much is that Doggie in the Window" hit #1 in 1953. However, sometimes things become, shape, and define the mainstream because they're good, and I think this man is pretty firmly on that list.
Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers isn’t just an album, it’s a cultural reset, a reason to breathe, an escape from this cruel world filled with thieves. It’s art, the first gift you open on xmas, a hug from a loved one, everything you’ve ever wanted, everything you’ve ever needed.

Amen back just awhile ago when most comment sections or all were cut off...man we really need to protect this, because without it we feel prevented to do what our heart needs to say...this album really caught me off guard big-time but I love most of it...I did understand his thing with Kodak, because when I heard whatever he said about pac I didn't listen or give a chance but wasn't digging him....seen a headline he is wise, then really dug a few songs, now man Kodak is truly at least almost as big as Kendricks not of course in longevity or lyrical content, but alike in growth an always seemingly getting better.. and his Cd is packed with vibes....hitting houses, Usain Boo, purple stamp, super gremlin an more . Point is Im a lyricist too , love all music, listen to old school jazz usually when writing but Kodak's delivery, flow, flow switches and the unexpected makes him look metaphorically like he trains like Kobe and will always go hard
This song is my favorite on the whole album and honestly, it’s been keeping me going. The first time I heard ghost face on it I fell in love, I missed his voice so much on some lyricism. Beautifully tied the song together, in my honest opinion. Wu tang forever.
Absolutely ridiculous, this production makes you forget about everything that’s wrong with the world. Instead, i’m just feeling blessed to be able to witness this greatness. Thank you K. dot
Almost shed a couple tears as Ghostface spit that raw poetry. Bigger than the streets. Bigger than you & me. 1 Love. Ghost contending with verse of the decade 🔥
Kendrick gave a great perfomance by speaking as a prophet telling you about what its like to feel love and embrace it. He also speaks from the perspective of the male learning more about women and seeing them in a better light than most males of this generation. Summer brings such an amazing mix to this song with her astounding vocals and singing from the perspective of the woman telling the man how to love her the right way. And Ghostface Killah's verse was so LEGENDARY! He definitely put the nail in the coffin with this verse. He's like this guardian angel talking to both parties, letting them know that love is the ultimate drug and it's the thing they both need to carry on. This song is a masterpiece and if they performed this on a world stage like the Grammy's, it would go down in history as one of the greatest performances ever done by black artists!
“I bless that you forgive, I bless it that you can learn from a loss” man kendrick speaks to things i go through in my life and i know a lot of other people as well, my man is so relatable and genuine most of my tattoos are inspired by him my man got me through some dark times.

Im back listening to this album a year later. At 1st I wasn't feeling it. It felt too heavy, trauma filled, and hard to get through. With revitalized ears, I see how important this album is. I thought this was a Kendrick memoir (it is), but its a mirror of AA culture at large. This album is amazing.

This man is a true child of the source. He knows he on the path of the prophet and in his purpose. This album helped me receive my own revelation. We are all one. Fear, lies, and division are the tools of the devil, the Jezebel Spirit, the narcissistic psychopaths. We are love. We are divine. The great awakening has started.
See, this is why for me Kendrick Lamar will always be king. I about gave up on the rapping industry this and last year because humanity is going through some hard shit right now and all any of these mainstream rappers can talk about is how much money they're making, how many people they're f***ing, how many cars they're buying and how many chandeliers on their wrists - just dumb fake meaningless bullshit. People are hurting and Kendrick delivers real feelings to real people - the whole gradient of the human experience. He delivers every time. Thanks for being authentic. We need more of this.
Damn the beat on this one is so nice off the album. I love this one cuz is send good vibes to the soul. And damn he brought out Ghostface? It's good to see he still mess with the roots of hip hop cuz most dudes now a days don't give the OGs their flowers.

The whole world tryna dim my shine, out of fear of what we a people could be. I love you gims. Even if we lose sight of what really matters. I just wanna see u happy. I just wanna make you proud. Don't you ever give up on me... And if you did. I'll still fight for you no matter what.
“I duck the party, who said they saw me Crown on Bob Marley, wrist on Yo Gotti” kendrick is a lyrical GOD I really enjoyed this album and this track is my favorite, from the lyrics all the way to the instrumental 👌🏾🎯🔥
I was so upset with Kendrick not dropping for years because we got so used to artists giving us content just to fill their pockets and satisfy our daily fix for entertainment. This man understands what the culture needed because this album is the rarity that only appears when the stars align. King Kendrick is here 👑
