Dot put him in cross because by predicted his future behavior. Dot knows Drake has huge ego so instead of Avoiding those tropes Dot predicted , Drake leaned into and did goofy ish like releasing that Sexy red song on the bbl grizzy beat, or or go Bowling and name himself the 69God to make it look like he isn't bothered ,but these goofy moves are just destroying his career even more. He just can't lay low. He's like the dude he does a Lick on a Bank with his crew and they come up. So the plan is too Lay Low for some months before his they start spending any of the Loot. But Drake instead starts splurging immediately and everyone gets caught

Agreed 💯 It’s like this thing that Kendrick started, is growing. It’s gaining more energy over the weeks. You can feel a shift in the culture and the consciousness of the fans as well. I was one of those that though “eh, Drake will chill and drop later in the year when this is forgotten. People move on.” Nope. This is sticking. Kendrick struck deep into Drake’s soul. Money can buffer you from the world. It can’t buffer you from your own thoughts. Drake provoking the Ross thing by liking posts and fake giggling in a video for Canada day shows he’s losing perspective. He has a brand to think about. That ain’t gonna play in white suburbia. Believe that. Fans can be fickle. This is the problem with always trying to appeal to the youth. You can fall prey to the next “new thing.”

Exactly it’s unfamiliar territory for Drake. He’s been subliminally engaging lol, and you’re right Kendrick definitely struck a nerve. It’s crazy some Drake stans are saying to let go of ‘Not Like Us’, it’d be moronic to not put out a video. People forget it’s about the culture of course but it’s still the music biz, and people showed in realtime the demand for it.
