I understand this is a one time thing that nobody really knew about, but why aren’t there professional recordings of all these songs? This is an iconic moment in US music history to me and has so little true exposure.
@@psquareflight nas and every rapper on trap symphony. Unless they actually did something original that wasn't in the original song here, than probably nobody.
Once more Kendrick proved that he is one of the most talented and influential musicians of his generation. Right now he is writing history and he will be well remembered decade after decade. He proved that he still is and always will be King Kendrick.
+I Don't Follow (A Nigga Been Trill) YEA I WAS LOOKIN OUT FOR ANNA WISE...BUT I THINK THE BACKGROUND SINGERS MIGHT OVER SHADOW THE 96 PIECE ORCHESTRAL SOUNDS - MIGHT BE WHY THEY DIDNT BOTHER, SHIT WILL BE COMPETING FOR SOUND SPACE - THE SAX IS ALREADY ALMOST OVERBEARING
What makes this performance even sweeter is this orchestra group usually performs with artist who have 20-30 year long careers. Kendrick is a legend already.
My God. Kendrick is on another level. He's not just a rapper, he's an artist, a genius. This is Art! Unfortunately not everybody understands all this stuff. I think Kdot (and Jcole) are not for everyone. Great work!
+devin lopez you just agreed with what she said . kendrick lamar isnt for everyone including you . j cole is the same , I've heard people diss him , especially about his last album because it wasnt "commercial" enough .
Kendrick has grown on me, he was never my favorite or an MC or rapper I even listened to or even considered myself enjoying and now I would place him as probably a top 3 rapper of all time, To Pimp a Butterfly is in my eyes is gonna go down as a top 10 rap album of all time, Untitled Unmastered gave me goosebumps just like TPAB and it was only a collection of 8 songs considered "not good enough to make the cut for the album," right there is where, for me, as a huge fan and follower of him, now made me realize that everything he's ever put out is just great and he's one of the most talented rappers of all time, he's not gangster, he's not a push over or anything, but he's simply Kendrick and he's creating such a unique sound for all of us to listen to, the mix of jazz and old school with hip hop is special and he's a performer and artist in my eyes more than he'll ever be a rapper
This boy is on another stratosphere!! Musical genius and perfectionist of his craft. All his albums put out messages that are deep. The average listener won't get it. King Kendrick
Kendrick Lamar is a musical genius. He is a magnetic presence on stage. His music is so full of life--I can only take a little at a time. Well done, sir...
