I remember that... The West Coast Homies wouldn't of passed the torch to just anybody... KDot making history as we speak taking Drake Apart bit by bit... we here for it 💯
And drake Stans won’t admit it! That’s the funniest thing about all this.. they poke at the dumbest $ht except the obvious : Drake isn’t on KDOT’s level. Ever!
A lot of people are missing how crazy “I’m the one to up the score on him” is. ‘Meet the Grahams’ is done in the key of ‘A-minor’. Meanwhile, ‘Not Like Us’ is in the key of B. Get it? “Up the score on him“…!?! Only a music conductor has access (control) of the music score. Kendrick is saying here that he is the conductor in this battle 😮 BARS BEYOND BARS🔥🔥🔥🔥
& alluding to the fact that Drake sings and he's throwing his bars/punchlines/disses with melodies hence Drake tryna strike a chord is gonna be a minorrrr.. Drake dissing Kendrick singing(holding) a minor chord while doing so
That 3rd verse was some of the craziest i've ever heard. Why don't new rappers bring more history to their tracks? The way Kendrick brought history to say how Drake acts like a colonizer, putting 21, Lil Baby, Future in chains and making them build Drake's image. That whole verse was so insane.
"Wop, wop, wop, wop, wop" are the five shots he's already dropped then another five "wops" the next line, foreshadowing the later bars "1,2,3,4,5+5" meaning he got another 5 shots in the chamber.
And his use of onomatopoeias like wop, wop, ,wop, wop wop in this song, and shoo, shoo and bi, bi , bi in euphoria is crazy use of the English vernacular
Also "I see dead people" is the intro to Game's one blood song and the fact that he is on Mustard's beat.he is showing Drake that Drake's connects on the west are on Kendricks side
Remember in "Euphoria", he said "I didn't aim down low enough, today I learned my lesson". Kendrick MEANT that shit, he is going straight for the kill.
And taking victory laps while doing it, "sweet chin music and I won't pass to Ox " Drake about to have a long summer cause I feel like Kendrick still has 5 more in him, plus Cole might want to change the fall of drop date, let this shit die and drop on January 2025, Kendrick will dominate the rest of the year.
I might be the only one but I swear that line is in reference to that song, "Control!" "The very first time I shot me a Draco(Drake, Draco) the homie had told me to aim this way, I didn't point down enough!" I'm probably wrong but I swear Kendrick is saying that he didn't go even harder on the Control track.
@@glcsanderI'm still mad Cole apologized. I think Cole's and Kendrick battle wouldn't be as personal and Kendrick battling two of the big three would've been insane.
Yea I don’t see how he could ever have a career after this. He will no longer sell millions of records, nor will his tours net a small countries GDP😂🤡this is laughable
Third rule of hip hop: Don't fuck with that white boy. He's crazy. Fourth rule of hip hop: Don't mention that white boys daughter. With all the rules in place, hopefully shit can run peaceful.
I freaking love it! I'm a 47 yrs old black momma! And I promise I have never preached hate to my kids! I've never liked him... it's just something about him that makes my skin crawl! My son is 24 and my daughter is 16! I didn't even know how much or even how long my kids have been listening to Kendrick until this beef. I thought they switched the station because I didn't like Drake! Just found out that neither one of my kids likes him at all! Shoot, my son and I developed a deeper connection during this beef!
This beef really put a lot of people on to each other in general. Weather you dis like one artist or prefer one over the other, there is no denying how entertaining it’s become. I’ve been a hip hop fan since well before Puffy was a Diddy…. (Were my old heads at? LOL) this has to be some of the best lyrically released music to ever hit the charts in my opinion, not to discredit any other artist, Kenny just built different…. Pac c-walkin on them clouds, proud as hell right now. Xo xo ❤
I'm 30 so I'm alittle in the middle of the new and old heads. Kendrick having all ages tuned in is so insane. We haven't seen anything like this since the 90's. This is history literally being made. At this point Kendrick only pops out when he's making history. Drake gets his props for even doing this but this is an embarrassment like we've never seen. lol
God's chosen people are black Americans no one would ever be like us they wish to be but never will be that's why we so obsessed over cus God created us special and unique asf ❤
Sweet Chin music was Shawn Michaels finisher, and his nickname was the Heartbreak Kid so another play on drake being certified lover boy I swear Kendrick has us doing side quests to break down some of these bars
He’s too damn prolific. Drake and the writers took a while to compile a really good diss with family matters, but Kendrick can write this shit in a few hours lmao
You ain’t peep the John Stockton line that dude is like top 5 in assists of all time and Karl Malone was his teammate and he’s famously known for getting a 13 year old pregnant🤯
Nah, I’m pretty sure someone leaked all of Family Matters to him ahead of time. How he was able to drop Meet the Grahams 20 minutes later. Which is even funnier that he was 3 moves ahead
@@aturboford1I think MTG was ready but this was today. I feel like he’s responding to the fan criticism. Cuz he’s saying the same thing but in a beat yall can dance to
As someone who wasn’t alive for those classic diss tracks like no vaseline, hit em up, etc. I think this is gonna go down as another one of those classics. We are experiencing history!!! 🔥🔥🔥
As a California teen who loved our west coast rap, Tupac…. I remember how big a deal Hit em Up was…. even at that age. As an adult I enjoy it still, this many years later on a whole other level, and witnessing this back and forth, and this particular track, I absolutely agree with you. This isn;t just a song it’s a damn masterpiece.
Wait, wap, wap, wap, wap, wap, might represent his current song and the other five waps might represent another five. And then he said how many stocks do I really have in stocks 5 + 5 = 10 stocks might mean songs, Idk I might be reaching.
@@kiellewalker3431 what's wild about this is the black folx are DIRECTLY RESPONSIBLE for country music in America; the banjo is literally an African instrument
Kendrick been having the whole AA community behind him , this was never up for debate! Hence why all of his songs have been doing more views than drakes
And also, using an AI of 2Pac's voice. I have a feeling Drake will regret that move for the rest of his life. After losing this badly, it just looks disrespectful and embarrassing. No west coast will fw that
A lot of people are missing how crazy “I’m the one to up the score on him” is. ‘Meet the Grahams’ is done in the key of ‘A-minor’. Meanwhile, ‘Not Like Us’ is in the key of B. You know the drama is nuclear when you have Game developers, Vtubers, Only fans accounts, Politicians, film makers and almost every creative industry commenting on this beef.
@@Demonboy007rap fans in Japan were not happy when drake said he big in Japan against Kendrick. Drake never been to Japan while Kendrick been invited to several of the biggest festivals in Japan. Hell I'd even say Cordae is probably more known than Drake because he was dating Naomi Osaka.
Kendrick won the Pulitzer, Drake and his ghost writers could never! Kendrick is an Artist, Drake is an Entertainer. Same team but one is on the field and the other is on the bench. I’m invested because it’s nostalgic but honestly Drake is not a rapper, it’s giving Milli Vanilli vibes 🫠
I’ve been watching reactions to this, these past 3 days and this one got me laughing hard 😂😂 “DRAKE HE’S HAVING FUN!! You remember when you had fun?” Lmfao
@@SwooshJush83Lol 😂😂Lowkey though He has Mentioned Gods Plan & The Bible on multiple occasions. He believes God is working through Him…He Sacrificing Himself in front of the World to Destroy the image and Career of Drake because Drakes ways are really Devilish and the Industry that’s Supports Drake are full of Other Devils …This is Real Spiritual Warfare we watching and in Ppl

I was born June 5,1973…we are the same age of Hip Hop…Kendrick is being a true ♊️ so was 2 Pac….I remember where I was when 2Pac passed….this has been the best ish I have heard in a LONG time.
That boy changing narratives. Nobody can name me another artist (other than Wayne) that stopped the world off a simple verse multiple times like Kdot has. Drake has never dropped a verse that had the nation stopped and be like....oh shit. He never had a Control, he never had a TPAB, he doesn't know the black experience, and he barely knows himself.
Pass on his body I'm John Stockton is a bar beyond bar because John Stockton not only was an all time passer on the Utah Jazz but him and Karl Malone were a double threat of that team, and later in life Karl Malone got a 13 year old pregnant. So that's not to be missed Kendrick is John Stockton but Drake he pdf file Karl Malone. Bars!!
“I see dead people” I think is a reference to fact that in the sixth sense movie, the character was dead the whole time but looked alive. So he saying drake looks real and alive right now but he see a dead man walking .. then proceeds to murder him in the rap
people even saying kendrick not a mainstream beat kinda guy must really not listen to rap. Kendrick been showed so many times he can crossover EASILY whenever he wants example: Swimming pools, all the stars, bitch dont kill my vibe, humble, loyalty...shit even mr morale had die hard smh
watching videos like this remind me that kendrick dropped something beyond what anyone could’ve predicted. your reactions to this song compared to family matters shows how skilled he is as a writer. i keep seeing drake fans say that not like us actually wasn’t as great as everyone is making it to be but in reality we all know the truth. this is legendary
Y'all don't understand the significance of the dj mustard beat , years ago mustard asked for a feature on his Perfect Ten album and Drake said fuck no 😭😭😭 Kendrick Lamar is diabolical 💀💀☝️
Kendrick won at Euphoria 😂. These other tracks just nailed the coffin. It's like Pac and Biggie. Love them both but during their battle, Love Biggie but I chose Pac because of his passion and creativity, and delivery. Kendrick is the Pac of this generation and that's a lot coming from me because I am a true Pac fan!! Also, when Kendrick said Drake didn't have any classics (previous video), he was referring to Drake having a ghost writer. I think he was meaning that Drake would only get half credit on any album or song considered to be a "classic" but he shouldn't be granted full credit because technically he cheated.
The John Stockton line was really genius because he played his entire career playing (passing to)… Karl Malone. Anyone who doesn’t know his backstory, I’ll let you Google it. 🙃
I will say that slave line drake said was wild to me, he just proved what Kendrick was saying this whole time. So im not mad ken calling him a colonizer
@@clarkkent2005 drake mocked kenny's passionate way of expressing his dedication for his people his love through his songs and kenny gave that energy right back to him and pointed his hypocrisy.
Drake said Kendrick raps like he boutta free the slaves. Kendrick flipped that by saying Drake doubled down and called African Americans slaves. This leads into the comparison of Drake to a colonizer rather than identifying as an African American, since Drake doesn’t have the mindset to see what’s wrong with his line from Family Matters
Nobody is untouchable. There is a lot of rappers out there rn that'd take rounds from Kendrick. Hopefully others start to pick up on the value here and become less afraid to say something on wax back and forth.
This isnt rap beef at this point. Kendrick legit wants drake in prison which deservably so. I dont know why anyone couldnt think this about drake after EVERYTHING. just glad he is willing to say it
