I’ve never seen anything like this in hip hop/rap and I’m 49! Losing a rap battle doesn’t bring upon this cause you lose some and you win some,what’s career ended is when you get your card pulled! When your image and persona is exposed as being fake and everything another rapper says about you is true is what ends careers, it’s not the battle itself. Plenty of rappers have battled and lost and still maintained their careers. Eazy E,Dr.Dre,JayZ and JayZ barely made it 😂,kool Moe Dee,so losing the battle isn’t a death sentence but how you lose is. If Kendrick didn’t have so much true knowledge about his opponent it would’ve been just a regular loss,Drake the one that was arrogant and didn’t do his homework,not only did he set himself up for this he was stupid to not do everything he could to protect his false image and persona as well as doing a bad job of keeping his personal life bottled up.
Battles come down to the flip. Make your opponents seem stupid or hypocritical. Or you have to drop a bigger bomb if you can't flip. @@sumyungchong naw,Drake had flipped out so to speak,it’s like Kendrick just paralyzed him at the end. He would’ve did better if he didn’t respond to like us. Me personally I think Drakes ego got the best of him so much that it kept from seeing what kinda opponent he was dealing with,he approached Kendrick the same way he approached everyone else and Kendrick buried him. It does seem as though Kendrick toyed with him for a minute to make it look like a competition but it really wasn’t and now Kendrick sitting back saying,”ok,I’m reloaded!” 😂
