The FBI doesn't discuss ongoing investigations. He isn't going to our one persons name as it was a decision made by at least 2 groups of people. He also wouldn't because the threats from MAGA to FBI these days is off the charts and he isn't about to put his employees in harm's way.

Ongoing investigation: the key word to not answering anything specific, just generalities never the real truth. Eliminate any "ongoing investigation" excuse, it is not in the Constitution. Make a law nothing can be withheld to Congress, nothing. Congress needs to know everything . It only makes sense, the slightest withholding leads to an avalanche of excuses.
The senator knows the director cannot answer detailed questions about an active case because the defendant AND the state deserves a fair trial. It is not an excuse to avoid answering questions, it is to maintain the integrity of the case.
What is scary is when Wray is questioned and is shown that there’s so much secrecy and cover up, that an public official like Wray doesn’t seem interested in showing that there isn’t any coverup or that the questioner is wrong in thinking there’s coverup! They further anyway they can, that “it’s none of your business”!

I'm a retired police officer and have drafted and served hundreds of search warrants in a 30 year career and frankly Wray's answer as to "who" Ok'd the SW is another pile of bullshit from a career bureaucrat with no spine. Further in the history of our country I'm unaware of any contact with a sitting POTUS, or former POTUS where an armed tactical team dressed in Ninja outfits was necessary to serve that warrant in Florida. The case has not gone to court yet. Why would any member of law enforcement make public details of an ongoing investigation and criminal prosecution? Especially one of a high ranking member of the U.S. Government.

Thank you for putting the date of the hearing in the title, I wish everyone on YT would. Mr. Kennedy knocks it out of the park again. On Wray, his response to raid was piss poor, into the wind, and represents a dual standard of justice, dismissing obvious willingness of Trump to work with the FBI.
The only agency in the intelligence community quote by Wray about 7:15 tells to the entire world that the FBI is more focused on that instead of law enforcement. He also has no issue talking about an active court case when it comes to defending his department yet deflects on open case after case when his department is on the other side.
