He's incredibly partisan and ineffective. The Lugar Center just ranked him as being one of the worst Senators when it comes to bipartisanship. His colleague, Senator Cassidy, was ranked as one of the most bipartisan Senators. If anyone is a better leader, it is Senator Cassidy.

I have always said that Sen John Kennedy has charisma and he does follow and believes in our constitution. He says it like it is. He is correct that judges should not be politicians with robes. No one should try to change our constitution and try to make in a way that will control or censor it's people.

A treasure? I am of the opinion that he wouldn’t mind that others that aren’t legislators, absorb his common sense reasoning and take it as what you really deeply, agree with. Things are tough now and it’s a guy like Kennedy that can bring realization and or confirmation to make sense of what this institution is. How it has worked, the integrity it had. Unfortunately, whomever, has breached this apolitical establishment. This branch should not be tainted by a legislative body or President to just investigate and never get to the source.
