I love Kennedy too. But I think it would have been so much better if Nina just said (at the very beginning), "Senator, we both know you will not be voting for me. I don't need your vote to be appointed. I will not answer any of your questions." And then turn to stone. He has no authority to force her to say anything. She could sit there like a rock for all of his 5 minutes. That would have been better for everyone's sake.
