The weather aspect about Michigan is over blown. The weather is usually pleasant during football games. The coldest game might be the Ohio State game. Even then, it sometimes pretty nice during that time of year. The challenge will be in the months from January to early April. All football activities are in doors. He'll just have to adjust to driving in the snow and dealing with cold weather when going outside but he won't really play too many games in the cold.

Mom don't seem all that sold on her son going to Michigan. This is a kid that I can see hitting the portal after a year or two.
