Kenny actually wrote this to sing with his good friend Michael mcdonald. He didn't like it much. He was opening for F Mac and mustered up the courage to pitch it to Stevie.
This is one of the most beautiful rock duets ever. Another great one from around the same time is "Stumblin' In" by Suzi Quatro and Chris Norman (from Smokie).

I was a Junior in High School when this song was released. It has always been my favorite duet. It Just takes me back to that hopeful sound and time. (Mostly hoping the girl next door would hear me singing it) And hear Michael Macdonald in the background.
Kenny Loggins is one of the most talented artists on earth. So many hit songs and many more that are hidden gems like Conviction of The HeRt,, I Believe In Love, and The Real Thing, among so many more!
Another great rock duet is Kenny Loggins and Steve Perry doing "Don't Fight It". With Pat Benatar's husband on guitar, it's really great. They even sampled a bullwhip sound and spliced it into the mix.
You know Kenny was part of a duet in his early days called Loggins and Messina and if you have not heard him sing the ballad “Danny’s song” and you want to hear how good his voice is then just take a listen
Great choice. I am a big Stevie Nicks fan. I'm also a big Kelly Clarkson fan and she did a version of I will always love you as a tribute to Dolly Parton at the country music awards on Monday night. It was stunningly beautiful. You should do a reaction to it. I think you would really love it.

Kenny has a great voice. You should check out some of his earlier songs when he was in the group Loggins and Messina such as "Dannys Song", "Your Mama Don't Dance" and "A Love Song".
