Saw this movie opening day in Mcminnville Oregon back in 1984. The 80s were hands down the best decade period. Kenny Loggins wrote some of the best music at this time. I wanna go back and be a teen again.
Gen Z's have no idea what good, funky, great fun to dance to music is all about. Proud to have grown up in the 80''s with some of the best memorable songs still to this day.

Winter of my senior year in high school. Many people came back to school that Monday after seeing it on Friday before and couldn't stop talking about it. So glad to be a teenage boy in the 80's. Best decade ever. Kenny Loggins would be a superstar just 2 years later again with the song "Danger Zone" for the movie Top Gun with Tom Cruise.
I WAS 18 YEARS OLD BACK THEN WHEN KENNY LOGGINS' HIT FOOTLOOSE WAS RELEASED AND HIT THE CHARTS IN 1984. I WATCHED THE MOVIE, I REMEMBER BONNIE TYLER'S HIT ON FOOTLOOSE 'HOLDING OUT FOR A HERO" WAS A MASTERPIECE AS WELL. AS FAR AS I KNOW FOOTLOOSE MOVIE IS BASED ON A TRUE STORY IN A SMALL AMERICAN TOWN.
