Whatever success Kenny Loggins achieved in his entire singing career, I still considered him as underrated. He's very modest with his achievement. He's very humble.
He's not underrated. He's an immensely successful artist and a legend. He is an amazing songwriter and has amassed an incredibly wonderful number of hit songs achieving worldwide fame. He made his living as a musician and is wealthy and always working.
Even today in the emotion of Alexei Navalny's funeral.... I turned to Kenny Loggin's "Celebrate Me Home"..... turned up the volume and cried and danced. Love you Kenny you are magic. Blessed Be. Peace to the World.
I saw the performance June 14 at Wolf Trap in Vienna, Va. Drove 9 hours from Cincinnati to see it and it was worth every minute of those 18 hours in the car. Kenny, I have loved you longer than I have had children, and my oldest is 47! I was in the back row of the orchestra section in a wheelchair and when you did "Forever" I had to ask the people in front of me to sit down so I could actually see you. I told them I had driven 9 hours to see you perform THAT song and I really didn't want to miss it. they were very kind and accommodating. I cried my eyes out through the entire song. Thank you for many years of beautiful music.
Kenny loggins has given his adult life to us. How can we ever thank him enough? At 68 years old I grew up with kennys incredable talent along with his energy that continues to amaze me and I am certain millions of his fans.
I was fortunate enough to see him, he was the opening act for Fleetwood Mac. It was was the Rumors tour, in Fort Worth TX. WOW!!! I had always loved Loggins & Messina, so this was a natural progression. Just WOW!
Kenny Loggins is truly a versatile performer. Some people may not know this, but he once recorded a Christmas album that I believe is stunningly original and heartfelt. He strings the various songs together in a beautiful journey of love and remembrance. It's like no other Christmas album I've ever heard, and one of my all-time favorites.
I feel so blessed I saw him at Mohigan Sun in Ct. recently. I went with my niece and we were both blown away. He and his band are AWESOME. He was conversational and funny, like we were in a small venue. I also saw him 40 years ago, so his music is a songbook, not only to my life, but to all of his fans. He is a humble man, and a man of integrity. Kenny loves his family, cares about passing on his gifts, and has brought so much JOY to all of us. What an amazing legacy. Thank you for sharing this with us. With GRATITUDE and a song in my heart...
Saw Kenny and the band at the Beacon Theater Tuesday September 14, 2023 with my 83 year old mom . We were in the last row and I got up and danced . His energy and enthusiasm and joking around with the audience was fun All the best with your retirement Kenny. Enjoy your Grandchildren and family . God bless .
Long time ago, driving in my car, the song "Celebrate me Home" came on the airwaves and I thought I had nver heard a more fabulous song in my life. I searched out the album from which it came and played it till I almost got my fill. Problem with that song, though, is that it is not long enough. Always wished he had somehow found a creative way to extend it by about 15 or 30 minutes!!!
It's a landmark! You've given us so much! Awesome work! We will surely miss all your new songs! Hopefully you'll still do some studio work! :) I love all that you do and have done! Thanks for blessing us with your wonderful music! xoxo
Loooove Kenny! Was overseas servi at a tac fighter unit overseas when top gun camecput, his soundtrack but even before that loved all his music, him as a person before loggins and mesdina,he was is the better one
It's more than interesting that his partner with whom he made a name for himself - Messina, has a name so similar to his mother's maiden name: Massie. Messina contains all those letters in it! Makes you wonder if, in fact, that was his mother's original family name. Sure sounds more Italian than Massie does, IMO.
Went to see him many times as Loggins & Messina. Then many times as a solo act. I think Vox Humana did him in with the record label. I think he kinda faded after that. Saw him a few years back at The Alex Theatre in Glendale for a fundraiser. Nice performance.
It’s kind of Sad , if we’re lucky we have a glory run of some sort , professionally , personally, I did and I learned that it’s ok to let go and start an entirely new chapter …
