While I agree..its not the fault of the 'people'. The issue has long since been an industry one and one that I've personally been asking for change for ages. These athletes are being allowed to perform while injured regularly. This should be unacceptable. Ideally a doctor should never allow it. But I assume the reality is the wrestler keeps that information from doctors or the notion of doctors giving approval for wrestling is largely bullshit unless its a head injury. The point is...the norm shouldn't be that people go out there injured. The industry has more than enough bodies to give people time off and we can also stand to tone down the matches for the sake of safety. Ladder matches as we know them should be banned for obvious reasons. It shows no consideration for someone who we expect to retire and live a normal life after leaving the business. Every other week Bryan and Vinny seemingly talk about moves that required near perfection in execution to avoid serious potentially career ending injuries. If any of that is even remotely true and not just them playing it up.... common sense says stop doing that shit and do something safer. On top of all this..the state of the performer is always masked from the viewer. We aren't meant to know about their injuries, aches or pains. Which is odd because wrestling has a long history of creating drama through taking advantage of kayfabe injuries.

Wrestling is the only "sport" where guys wrestle into there sixties.......it's not nearly as hard on you as you think.

Kenny Omega pro wrestled in 2021 with all of his body: at maximum effort, and at three different promotions. He is no doubt the best pro wrestler performer of 2021. Not wwe's overrated poster boy Boring Reigns, who only performed in a soft-style, slow motion, wwe entertainment... Only acted in one promotion and gave promos written to him by 69 writers.

@@2jebeal Exactly NOTHING has changed about Roman since his heel turn. He's still boring AF, limited move set, can't win the majority of his matches without interference or shenanigans. Physically, he's not gonna be at his 2017/18 peak again. We just have to accept that. He made art, and paid the price for it. Kenny is a machine who can work around it, but that's just how it is.
