Kenny when he was younger (along with all his cohorts) always aspired to wrestle in Japan. The wrestling scene in Japan was arguably superior to North America since the 90's. Kenny was able to fully develop and absorb that scene because Kenny learned fluent Japanese. I this regard Kenny is very much like Bruce Lee. Bruce was not the best martial artist. He was the first martial artist to bring those arts to the English speaking world.
+Richard Loma DDP is a testament to the "you're never too old to rock and roll" attitude. he started at 35. Boogeyman was 40 going through tough enough so he was in his 40s, close to 50. Rico got through in his late 30s too. Dont let age dictate what you can or cannot do.
"I dont' see the light at the end of the tunnel" BOY WAS HE RIGHT. Imagine Kenny being an ECW new guy in 2006 that would eventually become forgotten? Thank God Kenny knew he was pretty much doomed back then.
What I would love more than anything, would be for Kenny to win the title at WK11, and then Ibushi comes out. Stares Kenny down, Bullet Club are behind Kenny. Ibushi puts up his hands. Kenny points the gun, but before he can pull the trigger, young bucks double superkick. Storyline being that Kenny must get over the friendship in order to win. At the next PPV Omega vs Ibushi for the title, at the end, Omega has Ibushi beat, one final V-Trigger would end it. In a Shawn Michaels - Ric Flair type fashion, Kenny pulls the trigger on Ibushi for the first time, V-Trigger then the pin. After the match Ibushi gets up, smiles. Omega smiles and throws Ibushi an Elite shirt. Ibushi puts it on. New Member of the Elite. That can then set up a massive Bullet Club inner war between the Elite and the rest of the Bullet Club. It culminates in Omega, Ibushi, Cole, Cody and the Bucks vs Tonga, Roa, Fale, Yujiro, Bone Solider and Hangman Page. Winners stay in NJPW, losers are fired. The Elite lose, go to WWE.
Def would've been except WWE. However, bullet club members aside AJ and Cole have done well. But the ball has been dropped with Balor and the Club on the main roster. I think if Kenny had gone to WWE, it would have been a sin to put him on NXT but i don't think WWE would ever put him in a position to showcase what he does best.
+James DuBeck fun fact. Triple H wanted Omega(along with Adam Cole) when Owens was signed so you'd have Omega, Cole, Owens, Zayn and Neville but Im pretty sure he didn't want to go. He was also there back when it was FCW. Around the time Matt Hardy had that US Title feud with MVP
Imagine, it's battleground, new day has just retained the belts from the Wyatt family and are celebrating in the ring when you see Kenny Omega and the Yung Bucks attack them from behind
Big Red Productions The Elite vs. Wyatt Family would honestly be too much of a mismatch to work. Crazy Backwoods Cult vs. Douchebag Morons that regurgitate wrestling memes. I love both, but this feud just wouldn't work.
I wrestled for Harley and was at that camp. If kenny doesn't remember we had some opening drills to determine everyone's skill level. And he ended up busting the nose of another wrestler on a leap frog. So he was labeled as a guy who needed to work on the basics and was sent to another ring to do that. Harley liked the wrestler he hurt so that's probably why he didn't care for him.
i like Kenny Omega he is one of the best in the world right now .... I love The Bullet Club and something tells me if the WWE ever got there hands on The Bullet Club they would ruin it much like when the NWO came to WWE in 2002
It wasn't wwe's fault. Hogan got cheered every time he went out no matter what they did so they had to turn him face. Hall had his "demons" and couldn't be relied on. Nash blew his quad and had to be shelved forever. Without those three, there is no NWO.
OtakuJunk'd So WWE has never signed a wrestler and made their character terrible? Im not talking about HIM as a person you dumb fuck Im talking about his gimmick. WWE is known for signing stars and turning them into shit. Stick to Anime dumbass.
OtakuJunk'd You know using the term mark makes you a mark right? "Too bad he has way more success than Omega" So that makes him better? John Cena had more success than Pillman so John Cena is better right? You sound like a fucking nerd that doesn't know shit about anything. Stick to anime you tiny framed dumbass Weeb.
+C4CreamOfWheat you're gay. This argument has gotten pointless, I could careless about any of these athletes to be honest. Just to end this on a good point...yes, Cena is better than Pillman...why? Cena has had more 5 star matches than Pillman and that's a fact. Ciao
Was it shot in a restaurant kitchen or something (I hope not since there was a ferret roaming around)? At one point the clanking of dishes was unbearable to listen to with headphones on. It was still very good, but lil bit unprofessional.
Yes go to WWE! Immediately! or whenever you fell like. Cause your awesome and you need to be on the biggest/best wrestling promotion of all time no matter how many stupid idiots(thanks Y2J) think otherwise.
As a wrestling fan i hope Kenny stays a free agent and continues to get the fame and respect his work deserves. The WWE truly isnt ready for Kenny or other wrestlers like him. wwe's business acumen is to manufacture their own wrestlers so in the end if they fire the wrestler or the wrestler wants to work somewhere else they dont have to pay them money for royalties. They also dont want a wrestler to take their WWE fame and build up another promotion. Kenny is doing his own thing and getting over.if he came to wwe hed be severely misused, and would prob quit or get mid carded after a while thanks to wwe wanting to push a certain look or big guys. Kenny needs to stay in japan until theres a wrestling promotion that can rival wwe
its only a matter of time before Kenny ends up at NXT. you can totally tell he is intrigued by just the thought of it which is why he was acting funny towards the end. it was like he was giving an answer but not a direct one. Bullet Club in wwe would be insane.
keep in mind, this dude is a MASSIVE anime and video game nerd at heart. he says himself "..i wanted to bridge the gap between gaming and wrestling". take that statement with his love of anime and you get a memorable- if cheesy as fuck villain like he plays now. it's NEVER too late to remodel a gimmick to a more serious realistic version should he come to the states. give him time and see if it grows into something you like better on it's own.
My only criticism on omega is that he was never properly trained. With an old school trainer he could learn how to be more serious, and be more like a fighter, he’s a little to hokey for me.
