With 21 number-one hits in the American country singles charts and over 100 million records sold, Kenny Rogers is one of the most successful singers in the world. He worked in the music industry for over 60 years and had such well-known songs as "Ruby, Don't Take Your Love to Town", "Lucille", "The Gambler", "Islands in the Stream" and of course the original of my today's cover song "Coward of the County". He was the „Master of storytelling“ in the Country Music genre. Kenny Rogers passed away in March 2020 at the age of 81 (R.I.P., dear Kenny!)

Er war über 60 Jahre in der Musikbranche tätig und hatte dabei so bekannte Songs wie „Ruby, Don’t Take Your Love to Town“, „Lucille“, „The Gambler“, „Islands in the Stream“ und natürlich auch das Original meines heutigen Cover-Songs „Coward of the County“. Er war der „Meister des Geschichtenerzählens“ im Country-Musik-Genre. Kenny Rogers verstarb im März 2020 im Alter von 81 Jahren (R.I.P., dear Kenny!)
