Kennywood Fall Fest | First Time (Review)

I Love Phantom Fall Fest been my favorite event the park has sense ive been going to it even under the pious name Phantom Fright Nights Haunts doesn't mater wich one unless you win the crowd lottery haunt lines are always going to be long there's no avoiding that and ride lines will be shorter but no that much shorter! Tips if you ever wanted to go through all the haunts in one night either go the very first Friday the park is open for the event it appears to usually be not to crazy busy making the wait times better or buy a speedy Pass for the haunts! Malice In Wonderland Unleashed is currently My favorite haunt in the park I love how much it improved over its previous iteration last year! Shady Grove is my second favorite haunt there it still is one of the best haunts at the park and is the second newest with malice bing the newest! My 3rd favorite wich I feel bad lowering it down from 1st place to 3rd Is Dark Shadows which is a very fun, yet very dark haunt experience that most of the time dosent have as much actors, my 4th favorite would either be Voodoo Bayou or Villa Of the vampires I haven't got to experienced Voodoo Bayou yet sense it was closed opening weekend but it usually is a really fun and unique one explaialy being in the rapids trough, Villa is a nice vampire themed haunt with a lot of fog and etc. My least favorite haunt at the park is Kennyville Cemetery wich I still think is an amazing haunt but usually that's the one I experience the lest actors in and etc, but has an amazing actor who walks in the water fountain you walk around in that haunt! I Love to usually ride at least 1 to a few rides in the night and that's why at least during most Fall Fest Nights have myself a Speedy Pass to skip the lines for the haunts, or the rides, or both so I can do all of that because Phantom Fall Fest is usually Crazy busy for good reason with it being an amazing event that in the past even got recognized as one of the best amassment park halloween events like in 2019 where it ranked 3rd! I would suggest if you have the time and chance to visit the park during this event again and experience more of the amazing haunts, and scare zones, there is now also the day time portion with the change to Fall Fest allowing a full day of riding coasters and rides and then night to go through all the haunts and any rides you can fit in! I have always Loved the Phantom Fall Fest event and it has always been my favorite event the park does!

Yesterday was my first time too, and I hate spooky things, so when the scare actors came out I just lapped Phantom, although I was forced into Voodoo Bayou

Its a shame they cant move the lines quicker, might go next year. I wanna go to Ghost Lake at Conneaut Lake Park tho, it may be its last year with that new owner tearing it all apart and all

There's scare zones to walk through too. You don't wait in line, dead light district, hellbillyhollow, and fear fest

Malice was long as heck. We should have done something different but us fools decided to wait in line for a stupid long time. At least the interaction was cool. A lot better than the one in the front, but that one was still good.

you definitely gotta do dark shadows next time. dark shadows doesn't have as many actors, just effects to make it scary

Much like it is during the summer time, Halloween time is WORSE. I went one year and will NEVER go back. Like you said, the lines were HORRENDOUS for a 10 minute haunt. My hat is off for people that actually go and wait that long, cuz I did once and never again!!!
