I went through your list of videos and it looks as if quite a few of the rides are down at the moment. My family is thinking about making a trip there in September. Is it worth it to make the 2 hour trip to the park at the end of the season?
As much as I love the park and would love to defend it, sadly I can’t here. The sad truth here is absolutely not. 2 hours is a bit much and most likely it’ll be crowded (if you go on a weekend, and which speaking of that from now on I believe they’re open weekends only), and some of their main attractions are closed, most notably Steel Curtain. If you hurry it up and go on a weekday this week before they switch to weekends only next week, it may be worth it because the lines would be extremely short, but in the end it is really up to you. But given your circumstance, I honestly say it isn’t unless you have a season pass and are prepared to be disappointed.
I saw it closed, when I visited Kennywood a month back. Because Kennywood is my home park; I have friends that work there and I can ask why it is closed for you. :)
It must’ve reopened. They stated it wouldn’t be open for Fall Fest or Holiday Lights, so I guess the second I got my video up they got the issue resolved 😂
I do remember it getting like re done with new paints and cars the year the Steelers won the Super Bowl. And I think they did something to it the year they redid Noah’s ark.
Yea,there is a ride in some theme parks that is like the pirate ship but it is a rocket ship and it goes upside down I feel like that will be a good theme right next to the sky rocket cause they are both space themed I feel like they should to that.
