Hi! I’m not entirely sure if this is appropriate or not for a question I have since the video is about a pub, but how expensive would you say merchandise and food products are at Kennywood? I personally haven’t been there in years, and I wouldn’t ever remember the prices there… but anyhow I’m going on a field trip to Kennywood in roughly 2-3 weeks at school, and my mom’s letting me use her credit card since they don’t operate with cash, and I just want to spend money responsibly since I’ll pay her back how much I spend in cash.

Depends what you buy, but things can get a bit pricey. If you want like a hoodie or something, the spinvasion (the new ride for 2023) one in the gift shop is like $60.. yikes! So be prepared. I have never had Primanti's before, but certainly it is not a good idea to try it at Kennywood.... you definitely have to go to one of their own restaurants and not the little food stand lol.

@kmax15236 It's just my personal opinion, the main restaurants are definitely the way to go for first time Primanti eaters if they wish to have the full experience. I'm not saying to just avoid Kennywood's, that's silly talk! What I am saying is that for those looking for the full experience, they may want to go to the actual restaurants rather than Kennywood's little stand that has a very limited selection to choose from. Just my personal opinion, nothing to argue about.

I do not think adding a pub was a good idea, I know the park has been selling alcohol for a while but a whole pub is a little much. When I worked at Hersheypark they started selling alcohol and this resulted in some incidents. After the many brawls that happen and the shooting 2 years ago, adding more places to buy alcohol will most likely not help Kennywood become a more family friendly place.

I do agree with you on that point. Kennywood is supposed to be more family friendly, and kid oriented… now it’s turning into a lot of adult stuff that indeed will cause a lot of issues if not done safely.

Yeah, and just last year the city almost did not even let them open due to safety concerns. They could have put there money to better use like saving for a new ride!

I’m sorry to say but I predict Steel Curtain will go the way of Dragon Fire and Batman and Robin the Chiller coasters, but I hope that’s not the case, me personally that terrain diving RCM originally planned would have been a better perhaps.
