The Title! I just can agree with it. I was passed that Vader encountered Obi Wan - especially so early. Yet smh I enjoyed it. Really double-sided feelings about the whole series

Also how am I meant to believe Bail Organe gets away with having his daughter's kidnap be sucessful bait for Kenobi to come out of hiding after a decade? The Empire should be watching Bail like a Hawk after this and he is still somehow a key founder of the Rebellion. smh

This was a great summary of the frankly stupid choices in the storytelling etc in the show. You're right about the laughable parts and what pieces don't make sense. Episode 3 had a lot of these moments too. Watching George's star wars didn't have these issues because he was smart, along with the other writers etc about very simple things like Qui-Gon subtly using the force. How the hell can they not find writers for these multi million dollar shows that have literal common sense. I have faith in George Lucas while watching, hell even the Mandalorian gave me the same vibe. Meaning that if something happens that's a bit strange or seems weird, I have faith it will tie together or be explained properly or somehow make sense. But watching content like this, I'm just waiting for the next stupid moment, cliche or lore-breaking shit scene. I love Obi-Wan, I really hope this show doesn't ruin any of his character like Boba, and hopefully the next three episodes bring more to the table to justify the show being made in the first place. Because Disney seems to think you just create a show with a character's name, make them do something they think fans think is badass (which it never is) and story and common sense are afterthoughts.

I know you made this before the 3rd episode came out but damn, this show doesn't get any better. Obi-wan is my favorite character in all of Starwars, including the KOTOR series and Legends. But damn, this series is mostly terrible. It has it's moments sure. I like Ben and Leia scenes, they are quite a duo and it's nice to see interaction between the two. Ep4, kind of implies that they have a small history together and this helps fill that gap. I like the actress for Leia. She portrays her very well I think. She's smart and feisty , yet is still a child and somewhat naive which she shows. However, things like the chase scene from ep2 was garbage. I mean, wtf was Reva parkouring so hard for. Just to not get em lmao. You can find better shot chase scenes from amateurs on RU-vid. Reva is a poorly written character too in my opinion. She feels like a typical thug instead of an intelligent and cunning assassin. Very single-minded and just fueled by a seemingly pointless hatred for Obi-wan. With no backstory, I could care less for her. The Vader is Anakin plot hole is also frustrating. Obi-wan has been around for 10 years since the rise of the Empire. Even if he was stuck on Tatooine, HOW THE HELL does he not know Vader is alive?!?! He knows of the Inquisitors, YET he doesn't know the one who commands them? Also the way Reva informs Obi-wan that Anakin is alive seems like she knows that they fought on Mustafar. They make it seem as if she knows Obi-wan beat Anakin, but left him to die. That's some shit writing if you ask me. Ep 3 started off well but the second half was just a mess. I didn't even have expectations going into this series and yet I have been disappointed. With three more episodes left I really hope those three redeem this series. So far I'm almost just as bored with this as I was with the Boba Fett. Disney's tv series all seem to start really slow and then end up exciting towards the end, I hope that will be the case here for Kenobi.

I never the idea of the Inquisitors anyway. We know there are at most maybe a hundred Jedi in hiding at this time and Vader is very eager to kill them. The Inquisitors can be cool in Rebels but they only exist because Dave Filoni and the team doing Rebels couldn't have Darth Vader or the Emperor lose every week without ruining their characters. Hunting lost Jedi should be Vader's job.

Everything seems forced and unnatural because the show has to operate around a shoehorned Character who is literally only for the diversity quota.
