Huk does a fun seminar. My favorite was one in Higganum, CT at a school new to Parker Kenpo. A buddy and I had been trailing Huk around New England and had been training his principles very hard. When he came by to look us over, we had been blending the beginner technique he taught with an intermediate. The signal that he was getting serious was Huk would take off his wrist watch and he did just that for some stuff with me and my training partner. I took that to mean he liked what he saw, wanted to give us something new beyond the blending we had done. It was Excellent! So much fun!
Great tape from Huk Planas as I’d expect. Does any one know where his videos can be purchased? I know Larry Tatum sells his tapes (I have a few) and they’re excellent but I think Huk describes the nuances better. It’s been a long time since I studied. (No Parker instructors where I live) and it would be good to have references as refreshers.
